Hayate Liger w/ limited Pile Banker

I like him, teh pointyness, hehehehe. PLus the options for p[aint and stuff, like what silverliger did to his murasame, shiny.^^ And does this mean that hlj give you teh shiny pilebunker?

It doesn't fit. The white head jets get in the way.

Oh, and I forgot to mention in the review, but there's a lot of colour difference between the box pic and the model. The backpack is shown as brown like the body but it's white and several of the leg armour bits are different colours.

I actually like the Hayate, the middle red section doesn't fasten on as mentioned but thats the only loose part I had the rest seemed a pretty tight fit, some seemed too tight to me . Loose pieces, tight pieces not a good mould. Like I said now I have him I find I like him, he looks mean. Although Personally I think it looks more bear than Liger. The white shoulder stickers are awful though and the red shows through underneath.

Call me crazy, but I'm still thinking of getting one if I find a good price. Might be the Liger completionist in me. I could care less about the Pile Bunker though.

The first 2500 (or somewhere around that figure) people to preorder Hayate Liger received a free Pile Banker. Luckily for those who don't want Hayate but want the CP, HLJ are selling them separately.

you know what you could do to fix some of the looseness just put a little bit of super glue on it (and i mean little) and you let the glue dry then you put it on i've done this process to my pheonix and konig wolf

I have two things to add about the Hayate.

First off, there are four white stickers that can be applied to the shoulder armor if you wish. They're a lot easier to lay down than the Murasame's stickers, however.

Secondly, This Zoid is very symetrical except for the blades on its legs. One barely reaches the leg's middle joint, the other sticks all the way up to the shoulder. This strange unbalance doesn't help the intended look at all.

Good review, Andy.

I didn't care much for Murasame Liger when I first laid eyes on him. The fact that his main body comes pre-assembled had little to do with it: it was the fact that I was just plain sick of Ligers. But compared to Hayate . . . man, Murasame is just plain gorgeous. I'm seeing him in a whole new light thanks to that red and gold monstrosity.

Still don't plan on buying him, of course.

I think the main problem is the backpack, in the picture Andy took of Hayate with Murasame's blade it looks 10 times better.

I'm disappointed to see such a negative review, hopefully I won't hate it as much as Andy does but I like almost every Zoid.
