Having finally recieved and built my first Genesis zoid, I thought I'd share my opinion with anyone who cares to listen. First off, I expected him to be much larger, like Lager-sized. Instead, he manages to be just slightly bigger than Guysack. For the most part, assembly is sadly easy, and can be done in under 25 minutes. His gait is slow, but definite. He walks straight, and with an audible thud from each paw when he steps. His Grade-up gear moves quickly, though rather useless at the moment since I have none of the parts for it. I've only applied the eye sticker so far(a little dissapointing in itself), but so far, I like him. He might be small, but he just looks impressive, as if he knows he's better than all the zoids around him. I chose well when I selected Hound Soldier as Adamassc's personal zoid in my stories. I'll add in photos when I get my camera back. Conclusion:Recommended for those who like zoids with attitudes.

Slightly larger than Guysack? Jeez....I figured he'd be Command Wolf size.Still, this one is on my list of must-get Genesis Zoids.

Really? Well that's a relief....What kind of surprises me is that Hound Soldier is the only Genesis Zoid that is listed on the Hasbro site list.

Some people (I know Rick and myself included) think that Hasbro may have had a Houndsolider planned, and their poking at the mold and such got turned into the Genesis release when the US line splatted. Here's some size comparisons: www.creativeinsanity.net/zoids/images/houndsoldier/
