The PSP screen is too big, and will be easily dirtied, and also, why is it that everyone wants a universal media thing on their console? I have a DVD player, a CD player, and If I wanted to watch movies on the road, I could buy a portable DVD player that could probably do both. I just want a handheld, not a Universal Device that can do everything and feed my Hamsters. Besides, I'm really looking forward to the Gundam SEED game for the DS, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Super Mario 64x4, there are too many to list. All I really know of for the PSP is Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Ac!d (Yes, that's really how it's spelled; I think Kojima-san may be trying crack as of late), plus some tech demos. Besides, Nintendo's been doing Handhelds for years; They know what they're doing.

No, I said Metal Gear Ac!d; it's a turn-based card strategy game. And no, so far there are no comfirmed release dates for these two.

The DS will also sport a wireless chat/link up thing, aswell as some awesome games (as lordgale said, gundam seed) and probably zoids. I cant wait for the Animal Crossing game, where you can visit towns via wireless, and Nook won't live in your town either! YAY! I say DS deffinitely. PSP is getting way over its head...

Don't forget, it was that over-confident attitude of Nintendo and Nintendo-fans that got Sony where it is today. And many people said the same of X-Box before it came bout. Look at it now o.o
And there is no such thing as too big a screen >_>

No, not at this time. And yeah, big screens are good....on TV's...Granted, small screens are't good either *pokes space Taco* (Space Taco=N-Gage=Failure of the highest caliber).

From what I've heard, publishers were going nuts over the PSP while Developers were going nuts over the DS @ E3.
DS - Backwards compatable (meaning it can play alll GBA, GB color, and GB games), innovative gameplay, and lower price point. Last heard to come out next month. I'm also willing to wager the next Nintendo consule servers as a Wi-Fi hub for this bad boy.
PSP - New kid on the block, a price point that nearly pushs it into the gadget range, uses propriatary media disks encased in a plastic frame. Comes out several months after the DS.

PSP! besides, the tough screen for ds is stupid. i was reding reveiws and it gets messed up FAST. the graphics still suck (always have on gamesboys.) the psp graphics arew much better, and nintendo always does the same freaking gtames. nothing new. psp has a stick (cmon, no one uses a d-pad now ) and much more. get a mag, and read the reveiws. youll see what i mean.

I'm sorry to say, your opinon sounds hghly biased and very much opinionated. From waht I've heard, the touch screen is very durable (it'd have to be, no one's stupid enough to make a weak touch screen), not to mention that the PSP is also doing seuquels much like you point on Nintendo is o.o Also, for a hand-held, a d-pad seems much more sensible to me. Hnad-helds are all about protability and ease of carrying, to me, a joy-stick would only get snagged in my coat pocket or something. Last but not least, don't forget. Sony was the one who created the brilliant PPS (pocketplaystation) with a 70%+ defective rate within warranty.

For good reasons. It was never released outside of Japan because Sony canned the line after they realised almost all of their units were going to burn out within three months. Seeing as they sold millions and their policy is to replace it free of charge, they stopped the line rather than burn a big hole in their pocket.
Some places say the defective rate was as high as 90%.

you mean PSP. playstation portable. pockets for gamesboys. and actually, these things arent my opinions. they were from reveiws by testers, AND the makers of these games. the touch screen does get scratched way too easily, and thats not my opinion. its told from the makers. also, d-pads arent that great because its hard to control with them unless your playing pokemon or something. the stick isnt even that big on the PSP

No, he means something else, and the PSP screen is too big, making it conversely more susceptible to scratches. Besides, the DS allows developers to be more creative, whereas the PSP is just another system.
