The PSP is going to be around $300, though it would be nice if Sony did price it that high so that it'd crash and burn worse than it already will be.

psp is better because it has much more titles that are going to come to it, ds all it has is metroid prime and i wouldn't buy it for that

If you people are going to post your opinions, it'd be much appreciated if you put reasoning behind them rather than just put things like "PSP sucks balls" or something. Otherwise it turns into a Nintendo vs Sony fanboy war.
And indeed, DS will use cards for DS only games but it can take cartridges too. This is what Nintendo meant by the DS not being a continuation of the gameboy line.
As for PSP, it wasn't actually working at the E3 demonstratipn for the most part according to a new article released which also speculates the PSP to be rather expensive, more so than anyone thought.
As such, I'm not gonna buy either. DS doesn't appeal to me and PSP has just fallen into the bucket of "Not-Worth-My-Money".

Dual Screen and Playstation Portable ^_^
Both next-gen handhelds, both not looking overly flashy from where I stand.

DS not the continuation of the Game Boy line my arse. From my point of view, but systems will be rockin'. Sony plans on also making the UMD media for the PSP a new format for music and movies as well, which will be really cool. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children was the first movie announced on UMD. However, I'm not sure of other features beyond that. If anyone would care to mention some of its other features, it'd be cool. I know the DS will have two screens, one a touch screen, which, knowing Nintendo, should make for some interesting new game play experiences. Plus, DS will have...wifi gaming. I'm not sure how wifi works, so if someone can explain that to me and if this means the DS can support online multiplayer.
Edit: Hey, does anyone know how to do paragraph breaks in here?

I'll be getting the DS. Sony's efforts since the Playstation do nothing for me. I'm not liking the idea of having to use discs to play games from. Shake a CD or Minidisc player while its playing to see why. Unless it has some awesome antiskip protection (which drains the battery faster) you gonna get screwed if you jog the device. That doesn't happen with a Gameboy or an MP3 player. Also, Nintendo has the library available at start thanks to the GB cart slot on the DS, Sony's going to have to VERY fast to get up to speed.

Choose the one thatwill come out with a Zoids game (most likely DS). However, if you really want to play a PSP game, then get both.
