There is exciting news in discord. A caster I know as Gingy. Has started a very deep complex project. It is to resurrect the descat. It is a daunting project but someone has loaned a doner to help with casting. I hope this project is successful! She has just torn apart a main motor and is working towards the goal.

If it doesn't cost my car, I would be very interested in buying a re-printed Descat kit!

Honestly that's an acceptable price, but you do have to sacrifice an existing HMM kit for it.

Honestly that's an acceptable price, but you do have to sacrifice an existing HMM kit for it. no not a hmm kit. You can just buy the connector kits listed. Koto sells those separately too. In fact there are like 6 connector kits that I know of. There may be more than that. They are great for kit modders and those who make motorized ones onto posables. They in fact have been tempting me so very much lately. The group in discord has quite a few modders in it. When you see a model that has been sitting on your shelf for decades suddenly become animatedly posable the wheels just start turning in your head. Redler able to clasp both front paws together makes it just so much more expressive!

well that's pretty cool, selling connectors on their own.. I too now need to see Redler playing with a giant ball of yarn

The other news on this front. Gingy is also going to be working on another project when time permits. I loaned her a group of attack/command zoids. I dug out and found most of them and sent them off along with my payment for my pet project, which she is also helping with. My pet project as some already know is my dream of making a 3 factions chess sets and boards. I reached out to her because she cast all minitures and has an extensive mold collection for them. It was far cheaper to have her mold the ones I need rather than chase and try to win them in an auction. After I receive them I can get an idea of how high to build each stand for each model. Then once done back they go for casting the pieces in the proper colors. Then my sets and boards will be available. I do not know when either task will be completed. I told her no hurry on either task as she is working on the Descat breeding program.

Command Zoids make a lot of sense since you don't have to find donor motors..

I never had the command zoids, but would love to have the set. I know I have a full set. However I misplaced 3 of the 16. The water strider, grandmolar and saradin are missing. I still have 3 mega huge boxes to root thru. The location of those 3 boxes has stalled me doing so. I practically have to move everything in the room just to get to them. Then unload the box to look thru it. Ending up reversing the process. Somehow things never go back into the boxes properly and make it difficult as well. With 400 someodd zoids inside 8 massive boxes. When ever I root thru a box I discover zoids I truely forgotten I purchased. I thought I didn't buy any of the bio series. 2 boxes ago I discovered that I bought most of them. I also ran across quite a few of leoshop chromes too. One final thought. Gingy would have preferred unbuilt still on spures. My set is a mix of built and unbuilt. She wishes everyone to get the same experience of building from scratch. Sadly I could only loan what I have, or at least those I found anyway.

There is exciting news in discord. A caster I know as Gingy. Wait. Is this Gingysaurus Rex? Well Gingy keeps messing around with her name. But yes that's the one. She also is extremly well versed in casting zoids. These are her projects that will keep her occupied until the end of the year. Or at least that was her estimate.
