I'm displaying my Lego renditions of various kits at a Lego convention in Concord, North Carolina this weekend! Today was the first day, and it was a hit! The slideshow and magazine article where they were featured did wonders to make it more interesting to look at. I ended up meeting a couple of other Zoiders as well today, the ensuing conversation was great! Always nice to have a conversation about a hobby you love.

Wow, those lego Zoids look excellent! Sometimes it is hard to remember that Zoiders are not extinct, so it is always surprising to meet them out in the world. These are very true to the designs, though! Great detail.

I like the redler a lot. He's got even more style than the original. Like a slight cross between redler and groundragon.

Snowflake, that's where sites like BrickLink come in handy. Get all the individual parts you need without buying a ton of overpriced sets!
And kpstormie, can you post or link to more pictures of these? They look so great it'd be nice to see them up close.

Lots of people who either grew up with the OJR/OAR kits or loved the anime. Now that you mention it, it does! Thanks!

As Panzer said, Bricklink is a great resource! Allowed me to buy individual parts for cheap for when I needed them. A lot of the parts came from stuff I had bought over the years, but the more recent stuff is usually Bricklink orders. Sure thing! Here's my album of Zoids stuff on Flickr (both kits and Lego): www.flickr.com/photos/kylepeckham/sets/72157630954904456You'll have to scroll towards the middle to bottom for the newer stuff, the first versions are incredibly bad when compared to the new guys. Once you get past the V1 Dibison and Spinosapper it's the current stuff.

You have some really incredible likenesses in there! The more astounding ones are the smaller builds; you can make pretty much anything look right with 50,000 Lego bricks! It's a bit tougher with less than 100!

Dude those are pretty awesome. And really cool that you got to display them at a Lego show. Stuff like this motivates me to keep at the hobby and push my projects forward. I've been working on a Lego Liger Zero kit myself for a while now. imgur.com/Pnf5cg6imgur.com/1xBXHk7Bricklink and the individual piece purchasing on the Lego site have been a huge help. I'd love to dedicate more time to this, specially since I really love Lego, but I haven't gotten the chance to setup my brick work space.
