Another thread that I'm porting from Zoidspoison just because it's useful.
Here are my first submissions.
First is a comparison of the republic cannons, and buster cannons.
And here are some comparison photos of the normal tomy/hasbro redler, with CP-09, and the Kabaya redler kit.
I -might- have naomi gun sniper action figure and model, I'll check when I'm home.
If anyone else happens to have the zoids in their collection to fill these requests, please post them!
I got lucky on the kabay zoids, I got a lot of 4 on Ebay for I think $35? I've seen them sell individually for over $20 each. They're really cool. I have an irvine command wolf, red horn, redler, and shield liger!
NJR Gorhecks vs Zoids2 Stego vs OER Cyberdon. There's also the Fuzors version, which is blue/silver with orange fins, but I think this pic is actually so old that that one wasn't even out yet at the time.
Hasbro Metalrhimos vs Tomy Metalrhimos. It doesn't show as well as I hoped it would, but the difference in the armor color of the two is pretty striking. The Tomy version looks far more metallic and shiny.
Oh, and HMM Gojulas vs OER Zoidzilla.
I can confirm a difference between the Hasbro and Tomy red Blade Ligers but sadly, no photo is available. I own the Hasbro one, my cousin owns the Tomy one. The Hasbro is a lighter and brighter red, more bordering on red-orange, compared to the dark red of the Tomy version. Also the Tomy has black legs and Hasbro has grey.
Isn't the Tomy one painted silver (like the regular Command Wolf AC is painted metallic blue) rather than just silver plastic? I seem to remember Darwock found it was.
Based on what the surface of the silver parts feels like, it looks like they're painted, yeah. I don't know if I just never noticed this before, but if I didn't, I guess it's because the entire sprue(s) is/are coated with the same paint.
I'd like to request a side-by-side comparison of a Gojulas and a Bladey, Shieldy or Zero. I'm trying to quantify how large it is and I thought I had a good idea until I saw a picture on YHJ today; it's head looked almost as large as a geno breaker's body.
Hope these pictures can help you out-
OER Zoidzilla, NJR Blade Liger and NJR Geno Breaker
Same size as Geno Body?
No, not yet, but it is still a huge head.
Gojulas is a huge Zoids, not only it's head huge, almost everything is huge(except claw's and guns).
Yes, Death Saurer is still larger(smaller head but more armor), but Gojulas is only little smaller than it.
I need to see a comparison between a Liger Zero and a KMF Liger Zero. I need to know what all the fuss is about.
I need to see a comparison between a Liger Zero and a KMF Liger Zero. I need to know what all the fuss is about.
Haha believe the hype Leon, the KFM's are awesome, straight up. I have a bunch of em (2 LZ's, CAS for LZ, and BF) but unfortunately I don't have a Liger Zero model kit to show you a comparison (HMM LZ Clear Ver. currently is on its way though), however I do have the Hasbro LZ action figure to show somewhat of a comparison. Hopefully someone can offer a better picture of what you're actually looking for. The KFM's are slightly larger than the Hasbro Action Figures but smaller than the model kits and HMMs. I believe the KFM's are about 1/100 scale, while most of the model kits are 1/72 scale.. someone correct me if I am wrong. I'm also pretty sure that the KFM LZ is about the same size as the Revoltech Bladey. Not sure how familiar you are with the KFM line, but it's awesome, and a real shame they didn't continue with it. I'd LOVE to see other Zoids in KFM style. All the removable "armor" pieces (on both the LZ and BF) are made of medal, so the thing has a nice little weight to it. It feels solid, and is pretty damn sturdy. Huge advocate of them, they are my favorite thing "Zoids-wise", also highly recommend getting one if you don't already have one!
Hasbro LZ Action Figure, KFM LZ, KFM BF, Hasbro BF
All 3 CAS (Panzer, Schneider, Jager) behind them
Bottom shelf is all my gashapons and a Tomy Hover Cargo bottom right
Blade Liger's Box is exactly the same dimensions as the Geno Saurer's Box. Convenient considering I had to throw out my Geno Saurer box, and was able to empty Blade Ligers.
I need to see a comparison between a Liger Zero and a KMF Liger Zero. I need to know what all the fuss is about.
Too lazy to change the KMF back to Zero armor, so taking some photos of Jager unit-
Booster on
Since I'm talking photos for my God Kaiser, I think it is not a bad idea to take these 2 photos-
Thanks for the picks
ligerzero91: I wasn't even aware the R-techs were so big until I saw them for sale in a store. I assumed they were much smaller.
KFM is all metal huh? I would need 4 LZ's and Fury with all 3 CAS to get them all....I will have to look into them someday. Thanks
I like the new blue a lot more.

Apparently the Revoltechs are pretty sweet as well.... I need to look into getting a Bladey, He would make a good companion for my KFM LZ's since they're about the same size
And technically the KFM's are not completely made of metal... The main body is made out of strong plastic. Some of the armor pieces are die-cast metal, for instance on the LZ each shoulder piece is metal. and as far as getting them, look to YHJ/Jauce, they come fairly cheap on there believe it or not
Ok, I hope some body can take 1-few pictures for KMF Liger Zero with Zoids Fuzors Diorama Art Liger Zero Phoenix(the one in a big box, not the gashapon), and KMF Berserk Fuhrer with Zoids Fuzors Diorama Art Buster Fuhrer(again, the one in a big box, not the gashapon). I want to see the size different between them.
Thank You
Apart from plastic quality I haven't found much difference other than a slight different in molding on the feet and some small detailed parts.
To the left is a part from the Naomi Sniper, the right the STK Sniper.
Then there's just a foot comparison from underneath.
Does anyone have or can anyone take photos of all of the deathsaurer sprue racks laid out? Preferably from the Black Death saurer with all the pieces still attached. Need it for a recolor project lol
Is someone else Bloody Death Saurer's pictures ok for you?
ultramanday.blog71.fc2.com/blog-entry-6.html
Can anyone provide me with a picture of an HMM Shadow Fox wearing all the silver chrome from CP27 please?
Is pictures from offical Kotobukiya site ok?

Yes they're great thank you! BUTTTTT what I'm looking for is a Shadow Fox that has switched every gold part out for silver (This is possible right?) I know I know why would anyone want to get rid of that awesome black and gold color scheme, but I'm just curious if it looks good, and stealthy. Black and chrome silver has gotta look cool
Okay so I just purchased the Firefox from Hobby Link Japan since there's a Black Friday discount going on and I'm in the process of trying to purchase the Custom Chrome parts for the foxes through Japanmart. I only really plan to use the silver chrome for my shadow fox so I'll have the gold chrome left over. So I'll put that on my sell/buy/trade thread over on the market forum.
Image below is pretty much the reason why I want the silver chrome for my Shadow Fox.
So after some tom-foolery I took apart my Shadow Fox to put the chrome on. And then realizing I had glued some of the head together which didn't help my cause but nothing was damaged when I cut it apart to put it back together.
My issues is I can't decide which caps to put on ><
(though then it might be better to use the clear eyes to make clear smoke ones...)

Can we request comparisons? I would love to see the TOMY Limited Red Blade Liger next to the Hasbro Blade Liger. Also, speaking of red zoids, how about the Hasbro Naomi Gun Sniper action figure, vs the actual TOMY Naomi Gun Sniper, maybe vs the HMM Naomi Gun Sniper? Would love to see more MSS to TOMY comparisons as well. rhasputin said:

Here ya go, Foxtribe. The Hound Soldier next to a Blade Liger Zoids Fanatic said:
He's a decent sized mid-Zoid, around the size of a Command Wolf. Maybe a bit larger. Easy construction, nothing to hard. Though if you want my advice for buying the Hound Soldier, go for the OJR Hound Soldier. The color scheme is more pop-out fun, and the white and blue compensate each other nicely. But do expect to pay more for the OJR compared to the Genesis version. rhasputin said:
Oh wow he is quite bland in person. From the box art, the colours look much more vibrant and interesting. I think I'd like to search for the blue/white/silver ojr one! Wingpad said:

LigerZero is right about the body being plastic, but I would not entirely say strong. Be careful with it! Unfortunately, metal is obviously stronger, and when trying to remove one of the side mane panels on the Liger Zero to switch it to Panzer, the little loop that holds it in snapped right off. I think it looks very nice, but my compulsive need for color contrast isn't a big fan. I think the gold would look better, maybe even mixed and matched (gold discs on the leg, silver other parts?) Red eyes (clear red should work over clear orange...I hope/assume) and maybe the samw clear red over a few silver accents would look good, I bet. Or better yet, with some spare Zoids2 stickers or otherwise reffing them, because with the red it'd look a ton like the Zoids2 color scheme on Stego/Raptor/etc. (though then it might be better to use the clear eyes to make clear smoke ones...)
