The iOS version is up! Unfortunately there don't seem to be any proper iOS emulators, and you'll probably need a Japanese iTunes account to download the game If someone does get it (*cough* greengai *cough*), let us know if there's any noticeable differences from the Android version. More importantly for those who are already playing, there's yet another event coming up, and this one is longer than 24 hours! This time you just have to defeat Molgas of any colour between noon Sunday and noon Wednesday. The rewards aren't particularly exciting - except for the top 50... 1~50: 1 Pandos, 300 Zoid Gold 51~150: 100 Zoidonium (ore), 200 Zoid Gold 151~300: 70 Zoidonium (ore), 100 Zoid Gold 301~500: 50 Zoidonium (ore), 70 Zoid Gold 501~1000: 30 Zoidonium (ore), 50 Zoid Gold 1001~2000: 20 Zoidonium (ore), 30 Zoid Gold 2001~3000: 10 Zoidonium (ore), 20 Zoid Gold 3001~5000: 5 Zoidonium (ore), 10 Zoid Gold By the way, I got 10 of each Colournium ore from today's event (I was only aiming for top-500, but ended up very close to top-250). So much for focusing on uni work I notice sometimes Zoidnium glows purple when it drops, and sometimes it doesn't. What does this indicate? Also, does anyone have the Email / whatever we're supposed to contact them about lost pre-registration bonuses, if there is one? Don't know about the purple-glow Zoidnium (or the glowy guns still) but for contacting them about the pre-registration my guess would be their general support e-mail? Can't seem to copy-paste too well but under the little i icon the fifth subsection has a path to the support information page. The fourth subsection is a link that might be the contact form mentioned HereSo the pattern thus far for enemies re-taking islands is pretty simple. When you conquer one island, the one directly behind that will be enemy-claimed once again. Haven't 'lost' islands any other way. It seems Yarra (last one) has some sort of restriction? I have enough orange energy to play its first level but the game keeps turning Liger back around with a message of some sort. Gonna be stuck if it has something to do with evolving my Zoid more. Edit: For Triceratops on Hagar physical attacks did next to nothing so forget about staying close to the tail; just shoot the thing. I'm not sure about the glow either, although I think I've seen Zoidonium change from purple to grey, so it might just be a pointless graphics effect. To play missions, you need to have enough energy and meet the level restriction for that mission. If the Liger's level isn't the issue, I don't know what it's complaining about - try posting a screenshot of the message. As for the serial codes, the issues they keep mentioning are of the "my code says it's already been used, but it hasn't" variety, but hopefully they'll respond to "I didn't get the email" messages as well. If you want, I could probably write up an email in Japanese to ask about lost codes. It might have to wait a while, though, since I'll be away most of this weekend. (And yeah, the Triceratops is a pain. It took me far too many tries to kill the one on Daeg Dagaz - although to be fair, I'm still using a Lv20, barely-upgraded Molga )

I don't think the gameplay becomes anyway interesting after the first island? So far it reminds me more of a quickly hacked together game-modification with lots of bugs all around and feeling horribly unfinished

It was a level problem (needed to be 45, I was 44) to get on the last island, which was fixed quickly. But Bluestacks crapped out on me yesterday when I was halfway through Yarra. Got the "forever initializing" problem and lost Liger's game to get the emulator working again. RIP cannon kitty. started a new game with Gustav and Saber Tiger, hopefully Bluestacks won't topple again with those twoThe iOS version is up! Started last night after Liger's game loss and got... Gustav. On the plus side I did get to see how evolution works. The zoom in on the Zoid is cool I guess. On the Ipad the game runs smoother and the graphics looks nicer but that's probably just a case of proper device vs. emulator, not Android vs. iOS. Edit: also, some cool news, Material Hunters made it into the top 50 (it placed 47th) of Japan's free, new iOS games today. That's pretty darn good considering it's been down for maintenance. (And Sega's new game made third)

I would greatly appreciate the message, if possible! I don't mind the wait. I sadly made the same mistake as Greengairyuki, I think, using gmail instead of a Japanese mail service. I have a Japanese Excite Email, shoulda used that.
It's a horrible shame to hear about the Liger. I've come to find that the game will begin to glitch up after the first launch. So if you launch, then reopen it later, it will forever refresh the opening screen. So far this can be fixed by right clicking on the bluestacks icon in your start bar and selecting 'quit.' If you just kill the process, you still run into the issue. You have to manually close the agent.
Unfortunately Bluestacks seems to have all kinds of horrible memory leak problems. Since I've begun using it my computer has been crashing large programs such as Photoshop, Clip Studio, and even Jarte (which isn't huge.) This problem occurs only when the Bluestacks Agent is running, even if the emulator itself is closed. I'm too far into the game to bother reinstalling, but for other people's sake, I'd be interested to hear how those other emulators run after a few days. Unsure at this time if its a graphics card problem or what.
I got ... place 422 or so in the last contest which REALLY surprised me. I didn't put any effort into it at all, really. I may give these next events a serious try and see what happens.

What kinds of emulators you want to hear about?

It was a problem with the file path I think. I moved Bluestacks because it was getting into other files/was trying to open an app from Andyroid, my previous emulator and after I moved Bluestacks is when I got the problem. I triple checked other solutions but sadly the only way to get it running again was to completely uninstall then reinstall Bluestacks with no previous data. To be safe, I took Andyroid off too. Haven't used it in a year or so anyway.
Speaking of other emulators, Andryroid couldn't handle Material Hunters on my computer. It never ran games very well (not nearly as well as Blustacks anyway) but they worked at least. Plus they had always been smaller games directly from googleplay. Material Hunters' size or getting it through 1mobilemarket may have been the problem?
That 500 Zoids Gold was pretty awesome for the maintenance period! (Got Command Wolf with that bonus)
Just for comparison now that both are at level 7, Saber Tiger is a smidge faster than the the Wolf but the cat's defense is weaker. Wolf has a longer firing range and a quicker firing rate but Saber Tiger's got three shots per-fire and its attack is stronger. I haven't evolved either yet (Command Wolf has a couple more options than Saber Tiger) but they are really weak right now compared to cannon-Liger when it was on the same stage.

I got the consolation prize at the same time as I got the last of the gold I needed to hit 500 anyway. First spin got Hammer Rock. Kinda meh, but at least I didn't have it before. Second spin, got Command Wolf. This would be amazing, if I didn't already have one! Hoping for a cat on my next try.

Has anyone come across any geno's in the game?

I'm working on an in-progress game guide here. Don't worry about all the missing details, I'll fill it in as I go. Unfortunately once you complete and achievement it disappears from the list. Could anyone tell me some of the earlier achievements and their reward, ones that are missing from the link?

In case people have been wondering about the lack of "Event" button, the event got postponed due to continuing connection issues. The new times are noon on the 26th (i.e. 2 hours ago) to noon on the 29th. Unfortunately I've got assignments to work on, so I won't be able to get the Pandos this time Hopefully someone else has enough free time... I don't think the gameplay becomes anyway interesting after the first island? So far it reminds me more of a quickly hacked together game-modification with lots of bugs all around and feeling horribly unfinished That's a little unfair... it's more like they made a nice, polished demo and then just copied and pasted until it was the length of a full game Yes, all you need for iOS is a Japanese itunes, no other workaround required. In my experience so far, you can kill all the processes, but you have to leave one of the "HD Agent" processes until last or they'll just pop up again. As for the email, I wouldn't expect Gmail to be an issue (unless it dislikes Gcluster) - I got mine through Hotmail without any problems. Has anyone come across any geno's in the game? There aren't any yet. Promotional pics showed a possible Geno silhouette, but they also included Gojulas, Iron Kong and Salamander (none of which are in the game so far). You'll just have to hope they add some later I'm working on an in-progress game guide here. Don't worry about all the missing details, I'll fill it in as I go. Thanks, that'd help a lot! No worries about the time, I imagine Material hunters will be around for a year or so.
Killing Bluestacks via processes results in a game-breaking error until you restart your computer or close it properly (selecting 'quit'.) If you just close out the .exe processes the next time you start the emulator it freshes over and over, making it so that you can't click any apps.
I'm running Windows 7, not sure if that makes a difference.

Just a pity how back in my modding days this here would have qualified as a short time game modification project with mediocre quality and effort put into it and nowadays something like this is called a fully blown game. It's sad to see where the once great game development scene has ended up

Are the island names still in English? For some reason, the description on the Japanese iTunes store includes "Language: English" And sorry to hear about the Liger They were Japanese only actually... until I switched back to my English gamer-tag (it's separate from the iTunes account, I just got tired of my other game asking if I wanted to switch it to Japanese) And while I was pretty bummed about that kitty, I had a very great weekend to make up for it! First, I spun a White Tiger which is an INVINCIBLE BEAST. What took Liger just under 7 hours of gameplay to get to Yarra took 3 for the Tiger. BUUUT Tiger had to be level 50 to start Yarra?? While leveling up I Perfected several stages and earned: Helcat after perfecting the second stage on island #2 (also got S-rank) Command Wolf after perfecting a stage island #3 (didn't get S-rank so I can't tell you which stage) SHIELD LIGER! after completing (not perfecting) a stage on island #8 When you earn a Zoid from completing a level it'll make a little whooshing noise and show you the Zoid. "The reward of mission" will be waiting in the gift section. To top it all off, I got my pre-registration code for a second White Tiger! The code turned up in my e-mail up as soon as I switched to my English gamer-tag so I'm guessing I chose a delivery method that was tied to my device somehow?? (and I graduated too ) SPOILER ALERT!!Finished island 9 today... the Boss is both. First Ultrasaurus then Triceratops. There will be a 5-second or so break in between Ultra's destruction and Triceratops showing up but the clock keeps winding down while there's nothing to shoot! Had to beat this particular Triceratops with physical attacks; gunning it did next to nothing.

How do you get Rank S? It seems no matter how fast I complete a course, or how many enemies I take out (even if it's a perfect) I never get above Rank A. Even if I take no visible damage? Is my Command Wolf just too slow?
Speaking of, evolved to the RGC. The rate of fire is much slower, uncomfortably so, but a lot more powerful. Most enemies are 1-2 shots max, and if you are fighting a boss it does at /least/ 50% more damage in the same amount of time as the normal Command Wolf. Its best feature, so far though, is that the range on its weapons is further than the range of sight, so you're shooting enemies before they even appear on the screen.

Figured S-rank was based on score? Then again, I've done better on different levels and only got A rank. btw, for your Achievements list, the next level Yellow Molga is 500 kills for 100 Zoids Gold and then 5000 kills for 300 Zoids Gold for the MAX on that achievement. There's a typo where the achievement description says 50,000 kills but going by the progression bar it's only 5,000. Edit: more Pandos pics from twitter link
