I pretty much listen to two types of music- rock (day-time music) and soundtrack scores (night-time music). As far as rock goes, my favorites are in this order: Disturbed Flaw Godsmack Seether Nickelback Incubus Creed (no laughing) As far as soundtrack scores go, my favs are: all of the Star Wars stuff (even Shadows of the Empire) Zoids Transformers the Movie score (regular soundtrack rocks too) Final Fantasy stuff Gladiator Last Samurai Superman Conan Lord of the Rings (all three) I also have some old rap and RB stuff from when I was a kid that I don't really listen to, but still like to hear like Fresh Prince, anything from the New Edition guys, Keith Sweat...okay I'll stop there.

Pretty much whatever's on the radio. I like, or at least don't mind, most music.
I also really like the music from the MechWarrior 2 series, and most of the Command and Conquer games for some odd reason...

I mostly listen to IDM artists like: Boards of Canada, Christ, Aphex, Squarepusher, Venetian Snares, Cex, Autechre + loads of other obscure acts. I also have quite a bit of time for some guitar stuff thats fairly wide ranging: Zappa, NIN, The Smiths, limp Bizkit and even a bit of Mindless Self Indulgence.

and even a bit of Mindless Self Indulgence. Mindless Self Indulgence! Oh man they are so awesome. I saw them live about two years ago, they put on such a great show. I wish they'd hurry up and get the new album out, when I saw them live they played about 5 new songs. -Phenotype

Mindless self Indulgence are an amazingly energetic band, the sort of band I'd like to join/form, unfortunately in Britain the music press pour scorn on any act that remotely sounds american. I first heard them in a car when I was appalingly drunk after a night out(I was a passenger) and was instantly blown away by their 'unique' blend of rapid beats, ace minor chord guitar, and 'interesting' lyrics.

I don't mind any kind of music. I like who I like, but there is really no reason for most of it! Metallica is a mainstay. Godsmack and Disturbed. But then I like Janet Jackson, matchbox20, del amitri(don't ask!), Young MC, classical guitar: Andres Segovia. You can't forget Jimi-freakin'-Hendrix (before my time, but dude was awesome!) Man, I'm all over the place!

You can't forget Jimi-freakin'-Hendrix (before my time, but dude was awesome!) Indeed. I need more of his stuff... Speaking of which...looked through my list of music, and on the laptop, the bands with the most CDs are REM, Chicago, and various Eric Clapton-y stuff.
