I agree with Metal Wolf. Both the figure and the Custom Tiger have a very "outer space" feel to them.
I actually quite like the colour scheme of the Tiger.
On a side note, I find it refreshing to see so many guys here who prefer more acurately sized breasts on figures.

Actually, having seen the detailed description of the Celica Lucraft figure, the proportions of the semi-nude are preferable to Leve Ralia's. That's speaking from the aesthetic of an art student and publisher with a critical eye... and a lot of personal preference. The sculpt has form and weight much closer to a real (and endowed) woman.
The more I see the Brastle the more I like the basic color theme... but I would like to see it in more of a satin finish. I think it would look very good with weathering, exhaust and other details. The shiny look and color combination make it look like a toy rather than a scale replica of a real machine.

Yeah, the Celica figure is much more sane-looking to me, castoff business aside. Not my thing, but it doesn't make me go "the hell is her chest doing?" like some of the SRDX et al have, and I can appreciate the sculpt/proportions a lot more.
I agree - Brastle needs itself some satin or matte finish in with the shiny. The colors themself are keen, but the all-shiny is a bit funky.

So many of you on here fail at being men. Are you actually going to tell me you're put off by big boobs? Give me a freakin' break, I don't believe that for a second, especially considering half of you are in that awkward teenage phase where you're horny all the time. I can see the girls on here not liking it and I understand if you're not into Anime figures but stop acting like you're grossed out by breasts, you're not fooling anyone. I hate to come into this late, but... ...I may be in the awkward teenage phase, but I really am put off by rediculously large breasts. They just look fake to me (aside from them being on a [fake] anime character.) That's my two-cents. anyway, I hate the colors, but some of the modeling's pretty cool.  |

Okay, all of you seemed to be missing the point I was trying to make in my last post. Of course I realize that not everyone likes big breasts, everyone's different and everyone likes different things. The thing that annoys me is how everytime a new SRDX figure comes out most of you on here act like you're 8 years old; "Eeew boobies!". You don't have to like them but quit acting like you're afraid of them, I didn't always like big boobs but I was never grossed out or scared of them. Give me a break...
Oh, and whoever said gay men don't like boobs clearly doesn't know a lot of gay men. I do, and they freakin' LOVE boobs, not in the same way a straight man does but they certainly have an appreciation for them.

Your no big deal can be someone else's squick. "EW HER CHEST IS GONNA EAT ME" type comments aren't the most articulate or mature way of putting it, but neither is insisting that someone's acting like an 8 year old or not really a man because they think giant boobs are gross/freaky :p.

P'raps I'm a bit immature, but I actually quite like seeing a model with ridiculously overproportioned features. In this case, there's a real dynamism to the 'overgunning', and the rest of the body is nicely proportioned in a way that supports what on another model would just look crass and unbalanced. Sure, in real life, there might be serious back problems down the track, and it would be difficult to avoid drooping even in the relatively short term, but at least in the static shots the model looks terrific and works well. In many ways it's a disappointment that the model is just a custom and is not going to be released, and it's the silly Leve-Ralia that will hit shops.  |

That's clearly not the same thing. I did say it, you just took it the wrong way. Again, I never said nor implied that all men like large breasts, simply that I don't believe that vast majority of you are disgusted by them. The "fail at being men" comment was clearly sarcasm. You've all seen pictures of me, I'm definitely not a macho type of guy nor do I aspire to be. In fact I hate when men act overly manly and try to exert their manliness on others. I'm sorry if my comment came across that way. You're absolutely right, I'm sure there are plenty of men out there who are repulsed by large breasts. Are the vast majority of men? Absolutely not. If that were the case women like Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra wouldn't have such huge followings and you wouldn't see large breasted women plastered across every form of advertisement you can conceive. The simple truth is that most men like big boobs, so when I see 15 posts every single time a new SRDX figure comes out complaing about the breasts it's a little difficult for me to believe you all actually feel that way and aren't just trying to make yourselves look good by "saying the right thing". Because several people had replied to my initial post and I felt their replies warranted a response. There's nothing hard to understand about that. It's all in the reactions I read, it's one thing to say, "Figure looks nice but the boobs are a little big for my taste". My comment was provoked by posts like, "And the proportions are WAY off. And I feel ill now. Gosh, now I need a lobotomy to get that dreadful thing out of my head". It's that type of overreaction that irritates me. I'll admit that my first two posts didn't exercise a lot of tact, I apologize. I was tired and irritated and didn't feel like typing out a lengthy reply (like this one). Hopefully now we can put this issue to rest, if the guys who posted on here truly do find large breats offensive then I respect their opinion but I do have a hard time believing that's how they truly feel. |

Yes, well. I obviously didn't respond with a lot of tact either, for which I apologize. Gonna chalk it up to differences in opinion and leave it at that. Sorry for shooting my mouth off and dragging the thread more off-topic. but...again I say....Doesn't brastle tiger's cockpit have something similar to a command wolves, what with the control bar thing that folds over the pilot? Seriously, how is it going to fold all the way down without either breaking or popping the silicone (sp?) inserts in that woman!? XD XD XD but, no more talk about boobs. And I like the SRDX figs! I don't own any, but I'm perfectly happy just looking at them. |

I agree with sissior. This is just turning into one big argument. I understand what pheno is saying though. I can see that pheno isn't trying to attack a single group. He isn't even trying to attack. We have to remember that this is anime based. Most anime do have female structures like this. Its the way it is, take it or leave it. Just like this figure. Get it if you want it, don't buy it if you don't want it. Point and case. I think pheno might just be lookingfor maturity,as hes stated in his more recent post. Let's just stop this sensless argument. It really isn't going any where. Oh and the tiger is nice. I like that its diffrent and stands out.
