Gildragon is NOT Gilvader. They may be the same mold, but they are different colors, to such an extent that they almost look completely different. If they were to do a full-on Gilvader release, then I'm sure they'd make more from it than they did from Gil frickin Dragon.

Actually that's highly debatable point. Such that it doesn't warrant that kind of reply Releasing any large zoid is a risky move simply due to the costs involved.

Gildragon was in the anime more, too - usually that makes Zoids sell a lot better. Didn't work there (though it wasn't a spectacular appearance, time on the screen is still name recognition). Gilvader appeared for all of a few seconds. A non-collector-type isn't gonna know what the crap it is, and that's bad for a big expensive toy. Big expensive toys eat a crapton of shelf space and move very slowly in comparison to smaller cheaper things, even if they're popular. One that isn't that popular? Huge fail for a store. Big Zoids are just gonna be all "do not want"...heck, I was kinda surprised about Death Saurer getting another run . And I like Gildragon's colors better. Nyah.

Personally, with the first set of sprues already finished in HMM style, and with the popularity of the mold, I would be rather shocked if we didn't see an HMM Redhorn. However, from a marketing standpoint, they may not want to compete with their EvoDrive Zoids. I built my Greenhorn last night and was looking it over for HMM potential... I think it would make a fantastic piece... it would be smaller and cheaper than Geno Saurer, it would be more stable than Saber Tiger, and it has fantastic military design.

When are they going to re-release Oridius/Evil Pegasus? In my humble view this was one of the best and most fantastic-looking zoids ever made, but there's been no sign of it.

Orudios? Maybe. If they're releasing Gunguyrados, then some of the other grade-ups (like Orudios) are a possibility. As for Evil Pegasus, it's very unlikely. Evil Pegasus was released in North America under the Techno Zoids line, so unless Kenner/Hasbro feels like taking the zoids line back up, then it's probably not going to happen. :/

I'm not really worried what they call it as long as they re-issue that flying unicorn zoid at some point.

Sorry about the resurrection...just wanted to mention that HLJ has pushed back the release of Gungyarados to June. I know, most new releases get pushed back by a month...but I want my Gungy, dangit!

I'm also disappointed by the delay - and I'm still waiting for my Malder. On the other hand, Twinhorn's on the way, so there's still hope.

Still no box art for the Gungyarados so it isn't just a delay with HLJ. Usually once the box art is seen the release is near.

Toywave is saying it's pushed back to June too...and since everything else in my order should be in stock now, the waiting is a bit painful. Hopefully it'll mean saving on shipping, I have to remind myself of that XD.
