I realized that I work with a bunch of people who speak Japanese. I asked one, and he said it's real, and it's a limited edition, and that you have to special order it somehow.

I don't really like the look of that anyway. Flat yellow instead of gold teeth, white toes with yellow 'nails'?? ... and it looks like the guns can't decide if they'll be gold or white or what.

I wonder how many will be produced? Maybe a Mk-II Wolf isn't too far off...

I don't really like the look of that anyway. Flat yellow instead of gold teeth, white toes with yellow 'nails'?? ... and it looks like the guns can't decide if they'll be gold or white or what. I think the big photo is a mockup. A regular shieldy painted up, and then the guns in the typical prototype-we-ain't-ready-yet! gray. I hope the final guns aren't gold, though. So tacky. Really, I wish they'd sell these weapons separately. Like Kaelin, I'm tired of building shieldies, and I've only built one! |

Wow... The art looks good but the model... Why aren't the guns gold?! Anyways, the paint on this kitty looks very cool. White and blue, cool. Also, I love the details on the guns...  |

Really, I wish they'd sell these weapons separately. Like Kaelin, I'm tired of building shieldies, and I've only built one! ...They sell the Armored Core weapons and stuff separately. Why not these? D: Stop taunting us, Kotobukiya! |

But to be honest I don't think I'll buy it. Wallet is not feeling the love for yet another Shieldy. The Mk2 colours make the Koto look even skinnier. I'm in two minds about the gold guns. The concept sounds a bit goofy on paper, but I don't think a Mk2 would look right without them.

Very interesting...so this will be a convention exclusive most likely. Part of me is disappointed that it will be nigh impossible to get, the other half is saying "another Koto Shieldy?, you don't need(and can't afford) that right now!  |

I've been told it will be released by Kotobukiya, and that you will be able to get it by them. Some shops already make pre-order for it. I don't think it will be a rare item, it will be like Desert Liger and Empire Command Wolf.

I think Koto stands to make too much money for it to be limited... I also think the reason we don't see it in gold is so the kit can be applied to any of the other shieldies. After all, the original Helic CP kit was neutral gray, was it not?
I'll get one of these... I think I could make the switch to Kotos entirely as long as quality is the hallmark of their kits.
