I think the one-blox treatment works better on zoids that are already chibi-style

Nice box art.
But IIRC the (non assault) One Blox Sea Panther pretty much sucked with awful molding. Any pics of the actual models ? Release dates & prices ?
To be honest, I'll probably pass. I don't really see the point of the One Blox. I'd prefer more Baratz / Custom Blox.

Well, I've been told that those One Blox were hand made (!!) and that there was very very few done, only 5 units (!!!). I can't beleive there is only 5 units done of those, but it is sure that there is very few. I will have one next week (the first one). I will tell you how it is looking like.

Nonsnese, Cannon Tortoise is ace. Besides, these are gonna be very rare indeed, so it doesnt really matter.

LOL, I knew those Zoids are going to be cute. I hope they make more of these...
*EDIT:
Just wanted to ask, Sea Panther is designated as OBZ-X03 and Cannon Tortoise is OBZ-X04. Does the mean that the first two are the Red and Dark Horn OBZ?

I can't see putting in the time, effort and money to only produce 5...but who knows? I'm still mad that they never did that run of One Blox that included GS, BF, Ultra, Goj and the others

Can't get the whole One-Blox thing... how about...... making a real Zoid?! If you're going to spend the money on the art, making a box die, sculpting, manufacture, warehousing and distribution, why not take 10% more plastic and half the effort and re-release a full blown Sea Panther?
I just don't understand manufacturers..... and I AM one!

Molding a working windup would be a heckuvalot harder, though. Especially considering the apparent quality of the Sea Panther One Blox, I don't see it working well. Add in the needing to replicate the motor and...yeah. I can see why they went with a little non-motorized thing. If casting a windup were so easy, I'm sure more people would do it.
Tomy on the box could just well be crediting the source, like how I don't mind if people use my photos if they mention I took them.
(edit) And considering when Tomy took a survey I had to fudge my address and write in Japanese...I do not think they're going to listen to a small group of English-speaking fans. We're not their largest market. Even the OJR geeks overall aren't. Look at how well Gildy did - and don't say it was the colors, look at how many people in that group were preordering like mad >_>. The Kotobukiya stuff seems to be what's aimed at older fans these days...I swear the story with the Empire LC is even set in the OJR (I'll double check later).
So no, no petition from me. I might write Tomy sometime just to see if I get an answer, but I won't be expecting to influence them o_o.
