Bloody hell, that's crap! What he said. Though the "Sea Driller" design is a good idea. zed

If you'd have shown me the pic without telling me what it was I would've sworn it was an eraser!

With today's technology, I would think they could do a lot better than that.

um...actually, if they could rework it so it doesn't look like a sponge, then it might be a cool guy! Though, I'd rather have an actual seapanther reissue, this may clinch it for awhile...

Well it might clinch it for awhile, but if you do win one of these OB Sea Panthers off YJ, you'll not like the price you paid for it. I think one just went for a whopping 15500 Yen or so. That's enough for you to acquire a Zeekdober or some other grade up Zoid like Battle Cougar, and even Godkaiser.

yeusa;skjfakdj;alsdkjfa;lsfjk!!!!! yeah, but what I mean is, if they come out w/ a standard release OB seapanther. Hell, I could buy an MIB OJR seapanther for that much! (there was one awhile ago, but I didn't buyit)

There's one on YJ right now.. just gotta have the dough. I don't need one right now, seeing that my built Sea Panther works just great.

They probably have the license from Tomy to produce such Zoids-related items, much like how TDP was given the license to re-issue some vintage critters like the Iron Kong Mk-II. I highly doubt it, the TDP ones were produced along with Tomy, these February Hill ones don't bare the Tomy logo anywhere and the fact that they're not even using the official Zoids logo makes me think these are being made without Tomy's consent.

I agree with Lord Phenotype here. Most likely, February Hill produces these on their own, but the quantities are so small Tomy either hasn't noticed or doesn't care. I'll choose doesn't care theory myself, since most of their zoid products are conversion kits that require the base zoid to work. In a way, they're benefiting Tomy.

Maybe they just don't care because they've seen the quality of this Sea Panther!

Contact Celga to help you out. page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n48495011MIB Sea Panther, but the pic is missing from the auction and the BIN is too high. page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d70553576Another Sea Panther, built, but incomplete. Missing the top two weapons. Do the translating yourself via Google or something. Please note that what you win them for may not be what you pay. You have to factor in extra costs like commission, postage within Japan, international postage to your destination, bank/postal transfer fees, etc. That said, only bid if you're willing to cover up on all these extra costs. Pheno, you have a point there. Still, I reckon Tomy probably knows about these items.

Excite is a little better for translating auctions, imo...but if you ever want me to check what something says, PM/fork me on AIM and I'll do my best. No guarantees I'll be accurate, but I can try to prevent any unpleasant surprises and such.

wow...thanks, Tilly! Okay, I might have to look into this...so, I suppose seapanthers show up on sale (wherever) rather regularly then, huh?
