You know, I bet even if it said Holotech in 10-centimeter high letters in English on the box, people would still cover their ears, go LA LA LA, and insist it's not really on account of Holotech being a Hasbro term :p.
Holokitty actually manages to fit Holotech into the story, though-regular Holotech is a special clear armor made to reflect beams, Death Raser syle, but in some cases a rare mutation in the Zoid's core causes it to act like the stealthy doom in Fuzors. The box also mentions that that kind's feared over regular optic camouflage for being able to adapt to all terrains.
In other words, it's not any more unrelistic for the Holos to be clear all the time than it is for Zoids to have clear cockpit bits-those were also rendered solid in the anime, after all.

About those who are waiting their Clear Megaraptor from Amenbo, they told that they are going to ship them as soon as they get them. I think they didn't expect it to be released so soon, and someone had to told them that it was allready on auctions.

Not to mention all the windsheilds in sci-fi stuff. Transparent aluminum, anyone?

Heaven knows. Same way they do it in Star Trek?
The same era also had Zoids that could absorb beam weaponry outright, so...

Hah, so it seems Amenbo's cottoned on after all. I always did say they'd messed up and hey look, I'm right again So yes, I'll send my coupons soon and see what the result is.

That makes more sense though, then fully transparent metals. It doesn't absorb, it stores and unleashes. (We are talking about 'ryuki, right?)

Gairyuuki's clear blits are properly clear, albeit orange...I meant Rayse, though.
I don't see how clear = beam reflecty makes any less sense than clear = absorbey. Neither really do, one's just meant to pretend.

Well, if the clear/reflecty bits were crystal, the molecular structure could scatter beams... Or something like that.
