Yet, Liger Blue Souga, a Liger Zero variant with no new weapons, is highly sought after. Hmm... He's got a point. All they gotta do to make it sell is make it kinda rare, really hyped, super pretty-fied boxartize it, and slap a fanboy dreamboat on there. Because Liger Blue Souga is a dramatically different colour scheme. Rez Wolf isn't.

I don't know.. I couldn't understand what was going on... But for some reason, the goodies equipped their Zoids with giant frying pans and bottles..

Because Liger Blue Souga is a dramatically different colour scheme. Rez Wolf isn't. Souga isn't that much of a dramatic change in color scheme, they changed black to blue and changed the hue of the white. Rez Wolf would actually be adding new weapons which is something, even though the color scheme remains the same.

Skye, its a Whitz/Sword Wolf variant called Rezwolf. There's no sight of Savinga there so why would it be a Whitz Tiger? Just curious because its clearly just a wolf, minus the flying squirrel of doom. Gah, I need to concentrate more when typing. As I heard that it was gonna be a Whitz Wolf, not Tiger o_x Also, like I mentioned at zoidspoison, the presence of the picure is somewhat debatable. In the previous issue it's clearly alluding to a new Whitz something coming out soon but in the next issue we're shown the Rez Wolf. In comparison, we're shown the SD artwork of Re Mii and Kotona in the July Issue but the August issue shows the prototype figurine. Oh and I realise it's a Whitz Wolf variant. I also realise the name is Rez Wolf. Given that it's written there is large letters and all. And something else I've been thinking of. People have been debating back and forth whether the Rez Wolf would be an actual full zoid or just a bunch of parts. Here are my thoughts on the subject: -The product is given the designation ZGe-002. Some people are taking this as leeway that it'll be an actual zoid but it may be possible that it's simply identifying the product (whether it be zoid or parts) as the second in the line of Zoids Generations -At the last convention, there was one zoid sold, one set of parts sold. At this convention it seems there is already a Gojulas being sold so perhaps this convention will parallel the last with one zoid and one set of parts? -It doesn't make entirely too much sense to some people when you look at the fact that the Rez Wolf is all of four new parts. -Then again, the Liger Zero CAS is a bunch of parts and several people have multiple Zeros to display the armours and Korean distributor Academy has on more than a few occassions, bundled zoid along with parts (Blade Liger + CP-12, Shield Liger + CP-01, the three Zero Armours). Given that you take the Sword Wolf-y parts away from the Sword Wolf to replace them with other parts, this may be cause to include a Sword Wolf (or maybe even just the Sword Wolf minus all the Sword Wolf-y bits). -Some even think that including the Sworld Wolf might even get them a couple of extra dollars (if they have a price worthy of "Limited Edition" than I'd certainly like to think so >_>) or something though given the Limited Nature I'm kinda hazy on this point. For the most part, I can see it happeneing either way. If it does come with the Wolf then hopefully we get some decent boxart like last time.

ghe, if you took these scans off other sites, please do credit them for it. Nonetheless, if its just some parts released for the Rezwolf, that'll be a pity. I hope they won't be like the original Souga CAS... I'm looking forward more to the box art like what they did for the Souga, than the Zoid itself. Oh well, let's all wait till August and hope it comes out nicely. By the way, who's the pilot of the Rezwolf? If they do release the extra parts as a resin set, then I guess we might see a resin cast of the pilot figure? Like what they did with Midori in the original Souga CAS release. Now THAT would be sweet.

I've always wondered something about that, how come none of the copies of the Souga CAS came with the Midori figure? Is it more difficult to replicate a human form than those pieces?

Not that I know of, Hobbyfan.com even replicates garage kits as part of their services.

Rez Wolf = Nothing more than a Red Whitz Wolf with the Buster Sword ZP that supposedly was meant to come with that odd kangaroo zoid that was posted here a while ago. That same zoid also provides the Soul Tiger with the Round Shield ZP.
They should make a Jin figure. Jin is cool. :] (Jin is the pilot of the Rez Wolf. He's a mercenary who first appears to help Midori fight off Bio Raptors. His rival is the Bio Megaraptor pilot)
Show me the thing with the frying pans and I might be able to figure it out?

If people took the time to scan the thing, you can take the time to at least mention their name. I know I'd be irked if someone ganked my photos or the like en masse and didn't even mention where they were from, so please credit in the future...

Well, even if it comes with Sword Wolf minus the sword bits, it won't be too bad. Besides, a beautiful box usually makes up for other shortcomings. I'm hoping the box will feature that leaping pose of the Rezwolf in the magazine.

Okay...back up...what kangaroo zoid? I have no idea what it is. A few months ago, someone posted a scan of a Kangaroo Zoid that was unnamed. It was able to detach its weapons. They formed ZPs for the Soul Tiger, Sword Wolf, Lancetag, and Deadly Kong. Since the scan was cropped, the Lancetag and Deadly Kong ZPs were unknown but the Soul Tiger gains the Round Shields to become Soul Tiger RS and the Sword Wolf gains the Buster Sword to become Rez Wolf. (though it loses the Double Hack Swords)
