you know i dunno what the whole who has is about i mean there are worse htings *ahem, barbie, in that you can take allll the clothes off plus there posable, and they have been around for like 50 years, hell there's even a whole line that of pre-teens. these are tame by comparison. Action Man is far worse. Something about little boys undressing plastic men creeps me out. although i agree with the creepiness...would you rather they had a barbie??? i remeber when i had an action man, i used to play with the wepons and not the doll

You guys crack me up, why are you arguing over whether Celica's a kid or not? Obviously we were talking about the SRDX Canon figure from Zoids infinity. She's a young girl between the ages of 11 and 13 and her figure has completely removeable clothes. -Pheno

I find the level of sexualisation of women and girls in anime culture a little disturbing, so I went out to try to find some evidence that the attitudes fostered by that sexualisation caused an increase in the sexual abuse of women and kids in Japan. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that Japan's attitudes to what we consider pornography seems actually to *reduce* the incidence of sex crimes. www.hawaii.edu/PCSS/online_artcls/pornography/prngrphy_rape_jp.htmlTurns out that the most 'permissive' countries (Japan and northern Europe) have the lowest rates of abuse of women. Japan, where 'objectionable' material concerning children is legal, also has lower rates of child abuse. Well, fiddlesticks. It looks like the actual evidence is at odds with my cultural prejudices. I still find strippable kids creepy, but no longer have a pseudo-science way to justify that

Sweet lord...you're right! What's all this pink stuff underneath? I suppose that makes sense...if its readily available, people won't be as ready to go out and abduct/kill for it to fulfill their needs.

maybe she shrunk and this is to commemorate when her bird tried to eat her. Seems like the only logical reason to me.
