I feel the same way, mikey. The Bios, while cool in their own way, just don't have the "look" of what I have grown accustomed to in the Zoids line. This doesn't make them "not Zoids". They just feel like more of an offshoot of Zoids than the real deal. This is just my opinion though and I don't presume to speak for anybody but myself.

Sigh, OK perhaps I worded that wrong. Of course if Tomy have put Zoid on the box then it is. If Tomy decide that Transformers are an evolved form of Zoid and that cybertron is actually planet Zi a million years in the future and that Zoids as we know them will end and Transformers will now be known as Zoids then that'd be true. The sentence "If its not mechanical looking its not a zoid" is simply my personal preference and not a statement of fact. Perhaps I should have said "I prefer my Zoids to be more mechanical looking" So I hold my hands up and say sorry I worded that wrong. Now how about we forget the pedantic posts and get back to the subject matter? Who knows once I get and build the Night glo and commander I may be converted You're not the only one who has said that though sadly. Some friends of mine insists bio zoids are not zoids, so I go into the argument with them that blox could be considered not zoids and aren't overly liked by myself. But I digress. You hopefully will like the commander and night glow, I haven't gotten mine yet but I hope the night glow megaraptor doesn't shed parts so much and that it lacks the stink of megaraptor. If you like posability though, you really ought to like the bios.

Well ,you're right but you're wrong. Zoids is the name of the product line as well as most of the models; for example, the OJR Diorama sets had Zoids on the box but weren't actual Zoids. So sticking 'Zoids' on the box doesn't make it a Zoid full stop. In terms of model kits, it does.

In terms of model kits, it does. The Diorama sets are kits. Same for the figure sets and such. Now we're just splitting hairs. The bottom line is that Bio-Zoids are Zoids, 100%, regardless of whether you love them to pieces or want to smash them to pieces with a sledgehammer.

Yeah, and whats not to say that half the people here might actually like this thing when or if they get it. Whoever said ugly is bad. Think deadborder. Its ugly as hell, but whos to say it sucks. Its freakin awesome (I dont have one, just going by deadborders opinion here) to most people, just as we thought that Deadly Kong was the crappiest model of the genesis line. Now Rick likes it. For all we know, this thing could turn out to be the coolest, most awesome bio ever! (or, maybe not XD) but hey, lets not judge a book by its cover. Read a few pages, then go ahead and bash it. And damnit, stop complaining. I fear that things may get a lot uglier... litterally. -Epyon

Deadborder moves and has yet to shed a single piece. Mine has a loose battery cover, but it never actually pops open.
This seems to be another Zoid on the Megaraptor frame, which is nice enough but doesn't go anywhere and sheds. Two critters with that issue is enough for me...and I only have two because I wasn't expecting a clear glowy one when I bought the original. Oh well.

It looks like a freaking demon. I like freaking monsterous zoids. I must get. The thing could even beat a Gundam (ok, to high and mitey, a GM should do.)

Two critters with that issue is enough for me...and I only have two because I wasn't expecting a clear glowy one when I bought the original. Oh well. See? That's the probem. Bio-Megaraptor is a, well, flawed design, Its loose, its floppy, it sheds parts liek crazy, it can't stand up and its SFX sound liek hty're being played in a tin letterbox. In the bottom of a lake. In the next county. Now the extra weight of all that extra muck is not goign to do BMR's frame any favours. I can see it only making all its flaws worse, actually. And yes, I'll be the first to admit that Deadborder is as ugly as sin. And yes, I like it for it. But its also free of flaws, which is a quity most of the Bio-Zoids have bene lacking. And Deadly Kong is probably the best of the new Genesis Zoids for a) Being fully-built andn ot a lump b) Being motoirised and not gimickfied and c) Not being a Bio Rick R.

It's also got the ONLY black plastic that I've ever found fun to trim. Wonderful stuff, that black plastic was.
Megaraptor needs armor that stays on well and a more secure middle body joint thingy. Badly. I'm tempted to muck about with my original one, see if I can't fix a few issues so he can stop being a nudist Raptor.
Then my brain wants to give him ankles, an LED in his eyes...

Why dont you just glue the armor permanently. Its not like they're gonna sell a CAS for it right? If that doesnt help then oh wells.

If it's a custom one and I'm already messing with it, that'd be okay, but gluing a stock Zoid together permanently would make obsessive side very unhappy. They should hold together on their own...
Don't ask why obsessive side sees no problem with hacking away at tiger teeth to make them pointy, then, because I have no idea.

because the obsessive side wants pointy not fall aparty Megaraptor: im coming to get you *I love stupid nicknames WEEEE!* Murasame: take your best shot Megaraptor: *walks one inch and begins to rattle, the vibrations increase, eventually megaraptor explodes leaving murasaeme very confused Murasame: deploys blade just for the sake of it, realises that the shift in momentum is to much and falls on its side

I generally feel that way but after the umpteenth time my Liger Zero X's head exploded when switching CAS's I was forced to glue certain parts togther o.o
