At last, a clear picture. Wow, that's cool. It kinda reminds me of a Carnotaurus... It seems to have another core? Or a flamethrower? I hope thats not a Carnotaurus.. I was expecting a Ne Mold or at least a rearmoring of Bio Tyranno for a carnotaurus. It is..uh.. very.. Pointy.

Ugly overdone mess. Looks like Bio Megaraptor wrapped itserlf in velcrto and rolled aorund in the seafood isle. I don't like any of the BIo-Zoids, but I don't like him the most.

Out of Genesis, I like Lanstag (Its an Irish Elk. None of this prehistoric moose stuff), Heaby Rhimos, Cannory Molga, Cannonfort, Command Wolf LC, Houndsoldier, Rainbow Jerk, Bio Ptera and Brastle Tiger
And then there's probably some I don't mind
And then we get to things that make me think that a zoid isn't a zoid, but is rather some sort of massive cutting instrument
This is one of those zoids
Those hand claws remind me of a circular saw for some odd reason, and I'm not a fan of the tail... Thing
However, I do like the spikes along the back. Remind me of crystals in a way, really suits the whole volcano aspect of this guy
Now trust me, if they replaced those huge claws with normal sized ones for the hands, maybe made the arangement of spikes on the back more random and made them more mineral-like, you would have a solid zoid right there. A solid zoid that look like it crawled out of a mine for pointy crystals, but a pretty nice looking one at least

The thing on the tail is a scythe I believe.. Imagine what'll happen to Ruuji if he takes a hit from that. Good plottage, I say! X3 Saw claws = Cool attacks. >> I noticed their rugged design. They look like they're for stabbing into something and cutting its guts out.. XD Sweet. I kinda wonder if the spikes have any type of weaponry built in aside from pokes of doom. Would make sense..

I have to admit, I really like this design. The colour looks good & although it is too pointy along the spine (I don't much care for the scythe on the tail either), it's gotta have the most vicious & evil looking claws I've ever seen on a zoid. Sure, its superfluous, but they swing it for me. Hell, I've become something of a sucker for these GB Megaraptor types.
Also, do you notice the shade of purple on the spikes and claws on this guy. That alone points to this guy being one of the Uber villains of the piece.

On a side note, let me clear something us for those of you saying the Bio Zoids aren't Zoids. A Zoid is whatever Tomy says it is, if it says "Zoids" on the box it's a Zoid, that's really the bottom line. It may not be a traditional Zoid but it's still a Zoid. I get really annoyed when people say things like "I'm sorry but those are just not Zoids". Yes, they are, there's no room for argument here because you're just flat-out wrong, end of story. Rock on, Pheno. I can respect, though disagree with anyone who personally doesn't care for the Bio-Zoids, but any claim that they're not "real" Zoids is a total heap of nonsense. It's just like when the superb Beast Wars toyline/cartoon first debuted and a number of hardcore G1 fans adamantly insisted that they weren't "real" Transformers. It was a completely ridiculous argument then, and it's a completely ridiculous argument now. Nobody's holding a gun to your head and making you like the Bio-Zoids, let alone buy them. You can dislike them, you can hate them, you can call them ugly pieces of crap, and no one can tell you you're wrong. Try and claim they're not Zoids, however, and you most assuredly ARE wrong. The Bio-Zoids are Zoids. Accept it and move on, people. Oh, and Bio-Volcaraptor rocks. Can't wait to get him!

I like the Hasbro Seismo and Storm Brothers. So I do like... stuff. Rick R. Ohh??? What about the statement you made in the ugly section of the Storm Bros. review? ;D I actually think it is an evil looking model. I could see the possibility of it being a 'raptor going out of control mutation'. If done right, it could be the next berserker type zoid, due to it's massive body mutation, that would wreak havoc on everyone.

nicely said supsy, just cause you dont like em dont stop them from being zoids otherwise braciosaur would not only not be a zoid it wouldn't be a toy it would be a hammer (an especially crappy one) and the instructions would be kept in peoples bathrooms (but not for reading )

Well ,you're right but you're wrong. Zoids is the name of the product line as well as most of the models; for example, the OJR Diorama sets had Zoids on the box but weren't actual Zoids. So sticking 'Zoids' on the box doesn't make it a Zoid full stop. So i'll agree that Bio Zoids aren't Zoids. Bio Zoids are Bio Zoids, love 'em or hate 'em.

Personally, I don't consider Bio Zoids to be quite the same as 'true' Zoids, but I'm quite willing think of them them as distant relatives of Gojulas & Co.

Sigh, OK perhaps I worded that wrong. Of course if Tomy have put Zoid on the box then it is. If Tomy decide that Transformers are an evolved form of Zoid and that cybertron is actually planet Zi a million years in the future and that Zoids as we know them will end and Transformers will now be known as Zoids then that'd be true. The sentence "If its not mechanical looking its not a zoid" is simply my personal preference and not a statement of fact. Perhaps I should have said "I prefer my Zoids to be more mechanical looking" So I hold my hands up and say sorry I worded that wrong. Now how about we forget the pedantic posts and get back to the subject matter? Who knows once I get and build the Night glo and commander I may be converted
