Say, since your Zoid collection is who you are, do we get to call the winner Phenotype V2?

Wow, never thought you the type to part with your zoids. Smart move in raffling them all off than putting them up on ebay. Though I think if you put them on ebay you'd get a helluva lot more money. Anyway, I'd love to be in the raffle but I'd feel bad if I won. I mean, getting an already built zoid is cool and all but you miss out on the fun in actually taking time to build it. I'd also feel unbelivably greedy if I entered and won. Sure, I'm a desperate zoid-addict who has an incredibly hard time at finding zoids at a resonable price off ebay, but just winning your entire collection like that makes me feel.....I don't know. If I entered and won I would only keep a few for myself then give the rest away to the good folks here on the forums. That way everyone could have a piece of Pheno's Ultimate Zoid Collection. I'm glad that you'll be keeping the site up though. I always check there before I choose a zoid off ebay. Just so I know if a zoid is worth buying. Good luck to the winner.

...Meh, I would enter... but two things hold me back: I hate entering a contest where I pay a fee, and it's not a definite I'd win something (it's just my way of thinking. D:), and I'd have absolutely no room. D:

Oh my! I just bought my daughter 8 Zoids Genesis kits for Christmas from a Zoids shop overseas and she freaked out. I can't even think what she would do if she landed your collection. I'm a Zoids fan but she's a Zoids freak. LMAO. I'll talk to her tonight about entering.

alright pheno, they say never to regret the past because it's something u once wanted which is true. But please i know u said that u lost interest in it but please can't u hold on to em at last for little while more, u never know something might come along and change ur mind. Besides i know u said that we should at least donate if we're so concerned i would love to but i just finishbuying a genobreaker jet, Genesis brastle, and a museum limited geno which cost around $300 and i will be posting as soon as i build them for proof i did, and beleive it or not i don't care what anyone say even if u was to give this entire collection to me i wouldn't take it because a collection is something that means to u something when u can look back and say i remember i had to pay for this.... i remember what i did or this... u see where i come from and u mean to tell me after all this u did u just give up on it, wow and wow thats hard to beleive. Now it'll be hard for me to know which zoid is hot and what is worth it because i look at what u gain back then i said this guy will never give up and thats what made me move on with zoids and ur site was the first one i discovered to make me learn of zoids.
well i see no scense now in trying to persuade u to stop this madness u've already made ur mind and what the hell people go through changes all the time so do what u gotta do but beleive me i'm gonna miss ur collection.
by pheno the true zoid fan *cries, and wishes for all this to stop* i meant the old u that is and i hope u continue to show up on the forum

Ohhhh I see, there's not an equal chance we'll all win... 150 slots at 25 bucks each is not bad at all for you.. Lucky fella, you win no matter what! I really need to mull over whether it's even worth trying when someone's gonna buy up 50 tickets and I don't remotely have the space for them all.. but at least I have a few days

This admittedly comes as a shock, but I understand your decision. Its funny since I started collecting and customizing zoids because of your site and this forum. While I remain interested in Zoids, and especially in customizing, I sometimes get the feeling that there will probably come a time to hang up the gloves.
That said, I respect your ability to move on. I wish you good luck in this endeavor and with your new life. I'll try to participate in this to support your decision.
darth on,

Awww... I guess it's a trend, eh? First the demise of Tomy's great line of Zoids, and now it begins. I'm done with Zoids, but not until my final custom is finished. The greatest (or atleast, one of the greatest) Zoids pioneers is retiring one of the most acclaimed armies the world has ever seen... on the internet. Several well known Zoiders just left us. Well... atleast it was a good time. Zoids and Phenotype FTW! I really want to support you, Phenotype. I think I'm going to ask my parents if I can enter. But I want you to know that if I win... I just want your customs. Namely the latest and greatest Nexus, Snowhorn and Gunblaster customs. After reading Ped's post, I realize that my Zoiding experiences really evolved through this site and your collection. I think that really makes this choice of yours all the more important.

Ha! I have +25 resistance to losing interest, maybe more! It already happened once, then I got dragged back into it. Y'all gotta write yourselves some fan-fics... Hmm, I just reMembered something! I know of at least one case where PayPal thought someone was selling things, when in reality it was just donations, and they banned his account. I have no idea what's up with that, or if this could cause the same problem, or what, I just figured it was worth noting. Because I'd kick myself if I didn't mention it and it turned out to be important. What is it with these guys "Guesting" themselves so quickly?! They just doin it to say they were Members?! This topic (section?) has been made completely public, so people don't need an account to post in it, it seems. *goes off to sell more Zoids on eBay, to get more money to take up more slots*

Say, since your Zoid collection is who you are, do we get to call the winner Phenotype V2? Lol! If you want, althought I really don't think my Zoids collection defines who I am. Remember I write music under the name Phenotype too. What is it with these guys "Guesting" themselves so quickly?! They just doin it to say they were Members?! No, since the contest is open to anyone I changed the settings on this board to allow anyone to read and reply, not just registered members. So the "guest" posts you're seeing are by people who might have a question or comment but didn't want to take the time to register an account here.

Pheno , so what about your custom zoids? Are you going to sell? The customs are included in the raffle, including 3 new ones that have never been seen before! I know you must have spent thousands on your collection... but if you fill up all your 150 spaces you will not even make $4000 and i know with all your limit zoids and all the shipping you have paid, you must have paid more closly to the 10 thousands range.... this is why i would feel as if im ripping you off...... if i was to win that is... but yes, thats all from me. You don't have to feel like you're ripping me off, it's not about the money. I'm ready to move on and I wanted to do something fun where anybody could have a chance to get my collection. If I sold them in one big lot on eBay only the people with a lot of money could have a chance, this way anybody can get them. I never considered my collection to be an investment, an investment is something you buy with the intent to resell at a later date for profit. I never planned on profiting from my Zoids collection, just like Kamadoma said I have no regrest. It's like buying a house, you buy it and move in and it serves you well for many years but eventually it's time to move on to a new house. Well that's how I feel about my Zoids. I had a lot of fun collecting them and being a big part of this community over the last 6 years but now it's time to move on. Well in that case... if its not about the money.... it is really tempting to buy like 12 slots(i have the money to buy this many slots and i have the room if i one) but i still dont know ill have to see.... if its helping you not hindering you i dont see what the problem is.

Oh my... I was shocked at the news... But can't you atleast increase the price of your Zoids so if all of them would be sold, they could help you buy your first house. Like for example, selling all of them would give you 30-20% of the house you are planning to buy... As for the contest, I'm not planning to enter. My reasons are: 1.) They are very precious and like one member said, I forgot his/her name, doing that is like stealing. 2. Even though your Limited Editions are very tempting, I absolutely agree with Kaelin.

Don't think of it as stealing, folks! Think of it as, giving such treasures a new home, where they will have the respect they deserve. After all, if they were to go on eBay, who knows what would happen to them; many would probably be passed back and forth between sellers who are just looking to make profit, and the standard-issue ones would only catch a low price assembled. It looks like Pheno is absolutely going to get rid of his collection in some manner, so it may as well be to a good home, right?
Odd, that sounds kinda creepy...

u know seriously i think u should rethink ur strategy and sell ur collection in a way u would recieve at least $5000 in return cause ur collection is worth more than that, and no ebay will only rip u off cause they charge more when ur selling for a high price plus paypal fee charges so why don't u sell em in groups maybe that way u make more cause i'm sure many of the fans here don't want the entire collection probably just a few rear ones like me and others. For example like say mirage, tyrann, and fire fox they should be at least $300 u know, don't mind me i got those already except the mirage but hey u should put ur thoughts into that u'll make more beleive me and at least u won't have to ship all one time say sell set by set or sets by sets so maybe and i think that is the best way to sell em and make they pay for shipping as well all on ur account. THink pheno think slthough u've started all this it's never to late to change how u sell em. Yeah i know for one moment i'm like don't sell em know i'm like sell em, well i can't talk u out of it so i might as well make it worth it.
