Well, I think I'll be changing the rules so that next year you can't vote for yourself. I was hoping I wouldn't actually have to make a rule about it and that people would just realize it's in poor taste to vote for oneself but I guess some people are just too selfish. -Pheno

Alright Docker.. hahahahaha, point noted but there's nothing wrong anyway. My vote went to something else amongst the list of customs. Now let's all wait for the results to be shown.. its close to midnight here and heading to 9th of March.. so I suppose the US should be heading into 8th of March very soon..

I'd answer that but the riot police would be on me in a second -_-; so i'm just going to go with a neutral public "laaaaame!" instead. If you could answer it without unleashing a stream of curses that would make a grown man blush and babies cry I don't think anyone would be "on [you] in a second". -Pheno

It already is March 8th here but the voting ends tonight. So, 13 hours to go before the voting is over. I'm going to try really hard to announce the winners at Midnight. -Pheno

Midnight in your country will be 5 or 6 in the morning here, so I won't wait to see the result as soon as they are here, it can wait that I wake up.

I can do it without cursing thanks, but every time I feel like expressing my opinon I get yelled at because it's always "wrong" somehow, either it's too negative or it's against the "majority's" but it's never correct and thus I take crap for it.

Every time? No, only when you make comments that are rude, hurtful, arrogant, and/or inappropriate. There's a big difference between "expressing [your] opinion" and telling someone to STFU. I honestly don't care about what "the majority" thinks, I say things that are against the majority all of the time, it's when you go out of your way to hurt someone or make smart-ass comments that I call you out on it, and don't think for a second that I'm singling you out, you get the same treatment as everyone else here, you just happen to have more problems controlling yourself than most of the members here. -Pheno

this is really a successful contest in my opinion. Almost (dang!) everybody did not vote for themselves - i credit that to confidence and sheer sportsmanship. i think as an artist, we all believe that our work is always good - but to hear it from somebody else is, in itself, already a reward. and even if we hear from some people how our works suck, perhaps it should not deter us from what we love doing. instead, we should consider it as stepping stone towards improvement. all the criticisms, good or bad,are meant to make us better and for us to perfect our craft.
i congratulate all the participants this year. i think everybody will agree that this is the best contest so far in pheno's realm. im proud to be part of the best darthers in this side of the cyberworld. may all the winners inspire us w/ their talents to produce better crafts where our limitation is only our imagination.
darth on, zoiders! ;D

I always thought voting for your own entry was kind of odd. I mean, if you don't like your own, you've got some issues. I love my three customs. Sure they're simple, quick, and less than impressive, but they are mine. I adore my shiny sniper, my winged wolfie, and my tiger butt spider. But I'm not going to vote for them.
