IIRC the competition closes midnight 1 March 2006. So if the clock under the logo is EST, thats about 13 hours.
Maybe I should start mine now ...

I'm almost done!
Does this mean that my custom will be the last one listed in the contest if I turn mine in last? That kind of puts me at a disadvantage.. Oh well.. Early Storch catches the Molga..

Does this mean that my custom will be the last one listed in the contest if I turn mine in last? Wasn't it alphabetical by username? We'll be right in the middle. Alteka will probably be first (damn me for not going with my first username choice "aaaaaaaaaaa")...

We could always change our names... AAAhi docker!
So is it 12:17pm right now in EST?

Yes it's alphabetical by username, right now it's 12:30 PM here so that means there's a little less than 12 hours left. Plenty of time to finish up.
Jesus, some of you guys sent me freakin' novels for your Battle Stories. Next year I'm making a rule about this, NO tech specs and battle stories must be two paragraphs or less. -Pheno

geeze quit whining about your names guys, i'm at the very end and why should it matter if you ARE at the end? Anyone who doesn't look at all the entires before voting is a schmegeggie anyway. I know I plan to, some of the better entries last year were on the second page I think... oooh novels. Did we turn all our entries into fanfics I wonder?

See, to me, a well-written battle story behind something is the best part, so that'd bug me. The story is most of what drives me to chase old Zoids, in fact...
Then again, "long" and "well-written" don't always overlap much, if at all :p.

The writeup was the hardest part of this danged entry. I almost never care about such things (as can probably be seen in my writeup). I'd rather have notes on building or some such--much more interesting to me.
