Document Classified Level BravoReport Subject: Evo Tech
Subject Profile:
Evo Tech was founded five years ago by GojulasPrime. GojulasPrime’s motivation was to acquire a recently discovered ancient Zoid and associated technologies. Since then, Evo Tech’s mission has been to find and create Zoids and technologies that can be widely distributed across Zi, to build a stronger, balanced economy planetwide.
GojulasPrime has recruited many of the top specialists in ancient Zoid knowledge, Zoid technologies, engineering, and economics to grow Evo Tech into a powerful entity. Several of Evo Tech’s key personnel are prodigies. (see personnel profiles below) Indications are that these young men and women have been recruited to insure the long term success and expansion of Evo Tech.
Evo Tech’s relations with Gigardo have always been cold. Attempts by Gigardo to contract or partner with Evo Tech have repeatedly been met with some hostility. Further efforts by Gigardo to acquire Evo Tech have been unsuccessful and pushed Evo Tech into open opposition of Gigardo’s expansionist policies. This has led to Evo Tech taking on bigger research and development projects geared towards halting Gigardo’s expansion.
Currently Evo Tech is experiencing serious financial difficulties due to the failure of a major development project. Evo Tech’s assets are still too strong for Gigardo to force a take over. There is good opportunity to force a Zoid or technology development contract with them.
Key Evo Tech Personnel:
GojulasPrime:
Also known as GP, he is the founder and President of Evo Tech. At age 32 he is one of the older core Members of the group. GP is very serious, especially when it comes to achieving his ambitions, which are what drive Evo Tech. His goals, and the goals of Evo Tech, are to create a strong, balanced economy on Zi where the people are basically free of the Gigardo Empire, and to be the best at everything attempted.
GP’s attitude shows in the way he deals with his people. He can easily be described as stern and no-nonsense; driving his people and expecting nothing but their best. He does not expect his leadership to be questioned and will not tolerate any undermining of his authority. At the same time, he has gained the respect of his core team Members and others that work for him, because he respects them and their abilities and has driven them all to greatness. GP is not uncaring for his team, especially when he knows he is pushing them; however he will not accept any failures or excuses for delays. The recent project failure has likely created some discord between GP and his team, making for an even better opportunity for Gigardo to gain a foothold within Evo Tech.
GP’s personal skills cover a wide range. His leadership abilities, while sometimes harsh, are unquestionably strong. His own mechanical and theoretical skills rival his best engineers. His strategic and business planning skills are even stronger than his technical skills.
The Gigardo Empire should be glad that GP is in a corporate environment instead of a military group. Elimination of GP would likely not cause the collapse of Evo Tech, so is therefore not advantageous. In all likelihood, such a move could bring currently neutral parties into conflict with Gigardo.
Tyrannotaur:
Also known as T-taur, he is GP’s Vice-President. At age 19 he is one of the young Members of the core team. T-taur was specifically recruited by GP for his considerable skills, maturity, and to balance GP’s command style. T-taur acts more as a mentor to the other team Members, especially the ones closer to his own age, smoothing the ruffled emotions often created by GP.
Tyrannotaur’s prime motivation is to ensure the protection and survival of those he cares about, which extends to the core team, Evo Tech, and by extension, all of Zi. T-taur acts as the anchor point for the team, his loss would cause severe functional problems within the core team and the rest of the organization. Though he may be more easy-going than GP, T-taur maintains order and discipline whenever GP is off-site.
Tyrannotaur is an avid photographer and has been observed to take large numbers of detailed pictures whenever a Zoid dig is made or when a prototype is being created. Most of the imagery published by Evo Tech comes from photographs taken by T-taur. He is also an able and creative engineer. When he and GP are on-site together, he is usually creating sketches for possible new Zoids or equipment.
Acquisition of Tyrannotaur’s archived photographs and sketches could prove invaluable to Gigardo.
Wyvex Executor:
Another 19 year old core team Member, she is often called simply Wyvex, or by some, Tony. Wyvex is Evo Tech’s Chief Engineer of Zoid Design and Development, making her the head of engineering. Her knowledge and skills border on genius; she will make sudden intuitive and creative jumps, driving the design process. She is generally easy-going and gets along quite well with her teammates. Outside of business, she can often be found various places observing Zoids and sketching them, this gives her a greater aesthetic appreciation for Zoid design as well.
Wyvex does have several character flaws however. While she is easy-going, there is a point where she can become angry. Wyvex’s anger can cause a near complete halt to work at Evo Tech, as she takes out her anger on everyone. It has been observed that the easiest way to anger Wyvex is to call her short. She is also somewhat of a perfectionist, which has led to a number of heated exchanges with GP about deadlines and with teammate Van who nit-picks details. Wyvex is also highly competitive, which goes along with the perfectionist streak.
Wyvex is motivated by money and regularly engages her teammates and others in card games for money. It has been determined that this is not an exploitable flaw in her and to pursue any sort of bribery or recruitment utilizing money would fail and lead to a breach in intelligence operations regarding Evo Tech. While Money is a motivator for her, it does not overrule her sense of loyalty and her regard for Evo Tech’s goals.
Steel Fire:
The oldest Member of the core team, at 33, she also goes by SF, or to her close friends, Steelie. She is Evo Tech’s Director of Research and is exceptionally knowledgeable about Zi’s history, ancient Zoids, and finding lost Zoids and technology. She spends as much time off-site scouting possible dig sites as she is on-site performing research. Evo Tech’s expansion and alliances has continually brought her more information and territory to explore. As well, she is highly fascinated by the work of the engineers when they develop new technologies.
Her teammates have found that it is best to leave her alone when she is doing in-depth research, as she can be somewhat eccentric. Van is the only one who regularly spends time working with her, as he helps with the research work. SF will often be found talking to her self while trying to puzzle through ancient texts and research materials. If anyone else happens along during these sessions, she will not hesitate to chatter at them until they manage to find some suitable excuse to leave.
She is always in possession of a research diary, detailing her latest work. Access to these diaries could prove invaluable to Gigardo in finding ancient Zoids and technology, as well as uncovering secrets that she has noted in the diaries.
Warewolf:
The 22 year old Experimental Weapons Designer for Evo Tech, also known as Dieter. His goal at Evo tech is to build something extraordinary, which he has already done on several occasions. He has developed several improved shield units, lower recoil cannons, and improved armor plating. These successes were possible due to his natural engineering skills combined with the technological and research finds made by Evo Tech.
Warewolf’s labs are located a distance away from all other Evo Tech buildings, due to the volatile nature of the work done there. On several occasions large repairs have been required due to explosions and mis-fired or overpowered weaponry. One of his most troubling creations/recreations is a defensive system that counters an enemy Zoids Friend/Foe indicator. Gigardo has yet to recover one of these systems intact for study.
Warewolf primarily maintains a nocturnal schedule, working at night. GP tolerates this, and the strain it occasionally puts on project schedules, due to Warewolf’s results. Everyone on the team accommodates this working arrangement. Sometimes Warewolf stays late into the morning or comes in earlier and his teammates do the same, coming in during the night when needed.
RaVeMaSter_VaN:
At 25, Van, or Rave, is the Data Recorder for Evo Tech. While this title is descriptive of his job, it does not totally describe what he does. He helps SF with research work as well as cataloging Evo Tech’s projects for future reference and technical documents for customers. Van also helps manage the test pilots along with Ninja Wolf.
Van is an experienced Zoid pilot who worked freelance prior to joining Evo Tech. Coming across one of Steel Fire’s dig sites he became acquainted with Evo Tech and later managed to convince GP to bring him into the team. His goals are to help discover lost Zoids and technology and to work against Gigardo.
Van is somewhat antisocial and does not mesh well with his team mates, outside of day-to-day work. This manages to work because he is a very effective listener, and as Data recorder, manages to pull together all the ideas and information that comes from research and engineering meetings.
Van carries with him a sword which seems to have some family significance.
Ninja Wolf:
She also goes by Wolfie or N. Wolf. At 17, she is one of the youngest core team Members and serves as Lead Technician. Aside form her excellent high-speed piloting ability she has exceptional organizational skills. Friendly and outgoing, she has become close to all the other core Members.
Wolfie performs several functions within Evo Tech. primarily she serves as a test pilot and co-manages the other test pilots with Van. Though her technical knowledge of Zoids is lacking, her skills at organizing work and people earned her the spot as lead technician. She not only manages some of the on-site projects, but will also travel off-site with SF to oversee digs.
Before coming to Evo Tech, Wolfie was with the Kendo Wolves mercenary organization, and still maintains close ties with them. The leader of the Kendo Wolves worked a deal with GP to have Wolfie come to work at Evo Tech for an undetermined amount of time. Gigardo intelligence has been unable to determine what Evo Tech gains from this arrangement. The Kendo Wolves will end up with a Member who has gained great technical knowledge as well as superior piloting skills.
Action against Ninja Wolf is not advised, as this will further bring the Kendo Wolves into conflict with Gigardo.
Aaron Sullivan:
Goes by the callsign Lieutenant Sullivan when piloting Zoids or amongst his other young friends. A very knowledgeable young man at 17, it is believed he came by this nickname because his friends all believed he would one day become a military officer.
Sullivan serves as Combat Systems Technician. He has a high mechanical aptitude and can quickly and easily diagnose system problems and begin repairs. He can usually be found in the prototype hangars tweaking systems and making repairs as the test pilots put the equipment through its paces. He can also be found off-site, contracted out by GP, to diagnose and repair Zoid problems. These Zoids often have not come from Evo Tech, but GP uses Sullivan’s skills to help build alliances. GenoFox has long been one of Sullivan’s close friends and the two work quite well together.
By nature, Sullivan is very meek, shy, and somewhat easily scared. He does have a slight passive/aggressive streak however. This does not come out when he is angered by his team mates, but rather when he feels threatened by outside forces. To this end, he is usually seen carrying a pistol and when off-site he also carries a shotgun.
GenoFox:
Also simply known as Fox, he is also 17 years old and a master mechanic on Zoid systems. Where his close friend Aaron Sullivan is best at finding and diagnosing problems, Fox is far faster and better at actually fixing the problem. Both Fox and Sullivan were brought into Evo Tech for their current skills and because they have great potential to become superior engineers in the future. Fox also has superior math skills and commonly performs financial analysis on development projects, and has recently gained himself that primary responsibility.
Fox is also an excellent Zoid pilot, occasionally serving as a test pilot, whenever he can convince someone to let him take a joy ride. The fact that he has to repair anything he breaks helps him in this regard.
Where Sullivan is meek, Fox is very forward, almost an opposite of Sullivan. Both are good fighters and work as well together in that regard as they do as mechanics.
Conclusions:
•As determined in previous intelligence analysis, Evo Tech’s core team is too tight-knit and strong to allow Gigardo to infiltrate or ally with any of the core team Members.
•Despite a major project failure and financial hardships, Evo Tech remains too strong for Gigardo to force a buy out or take over attempt.
•Evo Tech’s current financial problems do provide an opening for Gigardo to force a business contract and potentially gain a technological advantage.
•Such a contract could also allow Gigardo to gather further, more detailed, intelligence information, if an operative can be allowed to remain on-site during product development.
