jeez people zoitec won, yelling at pheno, or saying you voted or whatever, isnt gonna change anything both teams tried very hard, to see both of the entries its obvious that both of our teams tried extremely hard. Its just that more people thought that zoitecs was better its not that ours is bad.

I think you should be more worried about your teammates that voted for us. On a serious note, the amount of votes separating the two is far greater than any margin of error, so a vote or two due to "hanging chads" doesn't matter. It's all fun and games, so why are some people getting all worked up about it?

Sadly, I have been way to inactive lately. I like the wolverine, but the CAS concept has been done. The horse, on the other hand, ROCKS! A [cencored] clydesdale inspired war horse is definately not something you see in Zoids. This design would have gotten my vote. The only changes to design I would make would be to make it smaller, more in scale with a *liger and possibly lose the drones in favor of a back or hip mounted weapon system similar to the Elephander. Oh, and lose the cargo hold since the smaller size probably wouldn't support it. I love the Eypon inspired tail and could see that playing a key role in defense of the unit. I didn't get into the back story for the unit, was a "laser hoof strike" concept considered? I've seen horses trash all types of stuff with their hooves and the laser strike concept would have worked quite well here. Overall, both designs looked great. Sorry I didn't get involved with the project. ~BC, who has a serious respect for horses after working with them for 3 years [edit] OK, went back and read the post. The Zoid is the right size from the text, so that's cool right there. While the tail is inspired in look to the Eypon's heat rod, it obviously serves a far different purpose. My person view would be to have had a strike blade mounted here capable of tracking about and striking as needed, with the rifle mounted on the hips, maybe in a dual barrel configuration. The tail, in its inactive mode, would have hung down to just above ground level as on a real horse. The active, extended mode would have had it capable of swinging around the length of the Zoid to strike at targets from nearly any direction, including directly in front. The CPG mounted in the head would go in favor of a beam cannon with one small surprise, the ability to be focused into a strike lance. Yep, war horse unicorn! ;D I like the laser gattling idea. The angle of fire sucks, but getting hammered by the gattling as the Zoid charges you down and tramples you with its hooves is not a pretty picture! Add in the idea of Laser Strike Hooves and an agile pilot and the victim is nothing more than spare parts. Did anyone consider mini-missle launchers mounted in the mane? Again, I just love this Zoid! ~BC
