As I'm sure you've all noticed everyone has been busy picking sides at my request. However I kept everyone in the dark about the details. Well, the jobs have been created, lines have been drawn, and it's time for the first Planet Zi Official Arms Race Contest to begin.
Background: The war on Planet Zi has ended but a search for the Zoid cores of 3 mysterious Tiger type Zoids has caused a resurgence in Zoids. The two leading companies, ZOITEC and Zi-ARMS, are now locked in an arms race to see who can develop the best new Zoid.
Concept: The idea is that the members of each company (ZOITEC and Zi-ARMS) must work together as a team to create a new concept Zoid.
Process:
Team members should begin contacting other members of their team to begin discussing their ideas for the new concept Zoid.
Two password locked boards have been created for each team to work in. DO NOT give the password to a member of the other team. The CEO of each team will be contacting the members shortly to give out the password. If you have not received the password in 24 hours please contact the CEO of the company you joined.
Full specifications (i.e. weapons, abilities, etc.) must be written out.
A Battle Story must also be written to acompany your concept Zoid.
Once the Zoid's design and specifications have been decided and approved by each team's CEO your team must elect a member (from your team) to draw the concept Zoid.
Once the final drawing has been approved by each team's CEO we will have a forum-wide vote to determine which concept Zoid is the winner.
Obviously I cannot give out prizes to 20 or 30 people, however once the winner has been decided I will create a custom of the winning Zoid.
Rules:
All ideas must be approved by each company's CEO.
Be respectful of other people's ideas.
There is no rule against switching sides, however if you do switch sides late into the contest you'll probably make a lot of people angry.
Timeframe:
Creating a new Zoid isn't easy. The contest will begin today, May 19th, and continue to June 9th. That gives us 3 weeks to come up with a new concept Zoid and all of it's information.
Good luck to everyone! The contest has now officially begun.
