Well, I suppose Silverman would only be red zoid leader to facilitate getting ahold of Death Saurer Hey, you don't suppose Silverman would get his metal mitts on the Ultra instead, do you? That would tie in a bit more. A blue Dathsaurer would be veeeery nice to balance it out again.

An Ultra could work, after all in the OER universe that would be just about the nastiest Zoid going. And that would tie up the loose end of that unreleased Zoid. Nobody's mentioned Zabre yet, my personal theory on Zabre would be that the Namer, whilst in control of the Blue Zoid factory commisions and builds a Zoid to help Griff come out of his fugue state after piloting Zoidzilla, Zabre would represent the OER story's first 'Liger' style heroic Zoid.

Possibly, but wasn't Zabre called the 'Mountain Lord' in that promo comic, and was Zoidzilla's spy?

Here we go: Zabre comic: EDIT: Ack, i've just realised you can't see the writing on the large page spread properly. This is what it says: Zoidzilla: I suspect red Zoid devilry! Zabre, my cunning agent, take two Kannon Zoids as firepower backup... ...And solve this mutant mystery! Zabre: At once, Zoidzilla. But a fruitless day of searching later...Kannon 1: This is hopeless, Zabre. Zabre: Silence, Kannon. Concentrate on your mission. Keep looking for any trace of - Kannon 2: Red Zoids! Krark: Only one, blue Zoid - but the most deadly - Krark, Prince of Darkness! Zabre: Fire back, Kannon, fire back! Kannon cannon (hehe): *Kush!* Zabre: No good, he's escaping...Return to Zoidzilla and report what you've seen. I will stand vigil over our fallen comrade. Impatient though he was, he may yet serve the Blue Zoid cause well. And, As night once more decends, Zabre's watch is finally rewarded...*Vorchik!* *Vorchik!* *Vorchik!* Zabre (thought bubble): That sound...! There's something approaching... What manner of Mutant is this...? Scavenger: This is the location...and there is the Blue Zoid debris, waiting for Red Scavenger! And...Zabre: Steal all the debris you like, mutant..it is easy for a Mountain Lord such as I to keep track of you...Keep going... ...Lead me to your base! Znake: Hellcat! This blue must not live to tell of the Scavenger secret - Attack! Attack! But Znake's alarm comes too late...And in an instant, Zabre and the Znake are gone......Leaving the Hellcat to explain the situation to Krark.Hellcat: ...But mighty leader, the Blues have a Znake android. He will reveal all the secrets of Scavenger! Krark: Fear not, Hellcat, I want them to know of Scavenger's work... ...Let them know we are using Scavenger to collect Red and Blue Zoid remains by night... ...So that we can build fearsome new mutants by day. So shall my army grow... So shall Red and Blue Zoids realise that, if they do not unite behind me, they will be crushed! Crushed by the new Zoids we are creating from their fallen allies... So shall Krark's will prevail! Super 1000 comic (it also came with a nifty little Zarwolf badge, which you may or may not have seen on eBay recently). The art's a different style for this, and I must admit i'm not a great fan of it. But here: I've also got a Zoids2 comic, but i'm feeling too lazy to do that right now. ;D

Wow, they're very new to me and they're very interesting but how much do you think they add to the overall story? the Super 1000 Comic is bizarre but still intruiging.

The Super 1000s seem to be a counter-Krark, if you will. I expect they would be shown a great deal in the monthly comic, and would be the only things stopping Krark and his army leaving Zoidstar, attacking the rest of the planets, and ultimately invading earth (right in time for Zoids2).

My uncle Tom gave me this piece of comic he had when he was a kid, (it was the Zabre one) and I couldn't find it on cheezelordmaxwells site, you've answered a lot for me, thanks. On the super100 zoids comic, you're right, the art looks weird. [quote author=Andy I've also got a Zoids2 comic, but i'm feeling too lazy to do that right now. ;D[/quote] Pleeeeeease can you post the Zoids2?

Going back to the idea of an OER Blue Deathsaurer, it seems are ideas were a bit more accurate than expected... According to the ZoidFans group, Tomy were planning on releasing a Deathsaurer to counter the Ultra, in the typical black/grey colour scheme.

Gah! How cool would that be?, there's a very interesting theme of role reversal going on. I take it Deathsaurer was intended to be Zoidzilla version 2.0.

I take it Deathsaurer was intended to be Zoidzilla version 2.0. Your guess is as good as mine. Curses to those evil people who stopped buying Zoids and killed the line in the 80s!
