Every store I've asked so far has said that "Zoids Legacy" for both the Gamecube and Gameboy Advanced comes out September 8.
Problem is that Zoids Legacy is only one of two Zoid games coming to America, and it's only supposed to be for the Gamboy Advanced.
I've heard online that Zoids Battle Legends comes out in March, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.
Does anyone have a concrete release date for the Gamecube game?

I'm just glad we are getting some Zoids games.
I really don't want to try to decipher Japanese.

Heh. Deciphering Japanese is a last resort for me, but only if the game is relatively simple or has rather straightforward mechanics. No RPGs or stuff, just things like fighting games or puzzle games. An example would be Naruto: Narutimate Hero for the PS2. Simple and easy to play, and there are FAQs to look up if you get stuck. But Japanese RPGs.... ehh. In any case, I want to be happy that there is going to be an American release for Zoids... but I don't have a Gamecube. ;_;

If you start saving now, you can probably gather the $100 necessary to buy a Game Cube.

True enough. But the games that make it here are sparse and few in between. Most of the available ones are already a year old or so...
I'll stick to my PS2, thankyewverymuch.

You sure that's wise? You'd be surprised how soon September is going to roll around.
I'd only buy the Japanese versions if the US releases were cancelled.

Eh, if I had a GameCube, I'd probably have bought it along with Desert Liger when amenbo got them in...it sounds fun, and it's mostly a fighting game. The menus can't be that hard.
Hmm. Wonder if anyone I know has a GameCube they'd let me use...you need one of those freeloader things, right?

Rofl. You should check EBgames, they were offering the Gamecube Japanese/Northamerican Edition a few months ago, and they have free shipping right now. You really won't wanna pay for the shipping of a gamecube from Hawaii to the Continental USA...

I saw in a Tips and Tricks magazine that Zoids Legacy for GBA is going to be release in June.

GameFront has a list of games that are going to and most likely to appear at E3 this year. As I scrolled down the list, I saw Zoids: Battle Legends listed as a most definate. ( there is also Kingdom Hearts II, Altered Beast ((YES)), and Resident Evil 4) For some odd reason, the translated page displays Altered Beast as, " Old-person-talk Beast." Heh. Too bad we can't go to E3. -Dano
