apologies for the slight thread res but seeing as this is a general it seems like the most appropriate place to ask in like 2008 2009 maybe even earlier than that someone had made an AMV to this song > www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8_EJADrd_0does anyone remember who/where i could find it? for reference it was all CC/GF shots. i watched it more times than i can count on my fingers and i always visualize it when that comes up on my playlist haha |

Tracked down this after seeing it used as a background image on Youtube. The artist is from the Ukraine and doesn't appear to have any connection with Zoids, but there are so many Zoid-y elements in that picture if you look closely - the leg armour, the shoulder caps, the face fins, the pipes on its back... |

It's hard to say what medium he really used... it says Photoshop and Air, but also Maya using Mental Ray as a renderer. If so, he must have grabbed dozens of 3D models and picked them apart, then assembled this piece and rendered it. The quality really looks like a physical kitbash.
