Yet all this happened after Vega was weakened by destroying the satellite. I don't think he would have been so vulnerable had it not been for that one plot point. I only remember seeing him bounce around, but I'll do a double check if I have some free time. Fury should have one..the Liger Zero SUCKS!!! Wow, even Bit hates the Liger. Poor Zero.

*I* like the Liger Zero...although I like the model version more than the anime ones.

What's everyone's problem with the Liger Zero? It's one slick kitty.

I like Liger Zero., just not the anime's portrayal of it. I prefer to think of it in the battle story, where it's just another Zoid, fighting and dying, not a unique almost unstopable Zoid.
Course, there's still a part of me that would like to get a cheap Liger Zero, do a Dead Wolf like diorama with it, then have an Iguan standing triumphant on it's corpse......

I like the Liger as well. I just don't think it can compare to the Fury with just basic Zero armor. Zero needs a better armor system. In a real war, the enemy won't give you the chance to retreat and change armors.

That's why they're changed inbetween missions. Possibly on a Zoid carrier. Aircraft payloads are changed all the time, right?

Between missions makes alot of sense. But I think leo was talking about changing armors right in the middle of a battle, which probably wouldn't work to well...

Between missions they rearm, but not in battle.

LordGale understands me exactly. Rearming between missions is practicle (provided you actually have that luxury), but changing modes in battle is almost impossible.
In the whole of Zoids Zero, the enemy only attacked the Hover Cargo once or twice, even though it makes more sense to take out the conversion system and strip Zero of its adaptability. Furthermore, Bit often went into battle with either the basic Zero armor, or an armor that wasn't always suited to the opponent. I don't think he considered the situation very well.
Vega understands how to handle oppoents. He's a much more methodical fighter.

I had Kirkland *try* to stop the Zero from changing armor in my fic...but he failed because the tail gun shots (another thing never used) made the Tiger trip :p.

When the enemy attacked the Hover Cargo, it was against ZBC rules. It's not like the opposing teams who never attacked the Hover Cargo ignored it... the Backdraft was just being criminals.

True, but in that case it's better to intercept the Liger en route to the Hover Cargo before it transforms. I don't think anyone tried that.

I actually like the Liger Zero in Fuzors more than the one in Zero, it just seems more mortal. Besides the outrageous fuzors, It potrays the Liger Zero as a normal Zoid. But what they did do good with, or what i think, is the shadow fox and blade liger, those, to me, were dead on.

If the HC was properly covered, then the LZ could use the CAS, but Iff.
