Does anyone know where to get some classic zoids dvds like that zoids tribute web master has? The only place ive found is amenbo. com(or somthin spelled like that) and they are 40$ each there! i need a place that sells them cheaper. My dad said if they are in japenese and at a resonable price, he'll buy them for me.

Classic Zoids is coming out on DVD in America next year, if you'd prefer to see them in English. Otherwise, I have no idea where you could buy other DVDs.

Some DVDs have a region lock, that wont let you watch them in a DVD player, so i wouldnt risk it, and just wait.

Steelx, what he means is the Chaotic Century and Guardian Force DVDs. Those were aired on Cartoon Network as Zoids Classic.
And yes, I also heard that they are to be released in the US sometime in `04.

Uh...amenbo already *has* them for cheaper than usual. All Japanese DVDs are that much. If you see them for US-like prices, they're almost certainly bootlegs.
They're region 2, so you'd need a player set to that or that can play multiple regions. Japan uses the same VHS format as the US, though, so those should play just fine.

But DVDs might come with Subtitles... and its funny to watch their mouth move and make up words if you take the Subtitles off and put on MUTE... I do that with Inuyasha all the time ^_^

There's no subtitles. It even says so on the site, I believe...they're raw Japanese.

funimation edits all the anime before it goes out on tv. Like the especially bloody parts. I wanted to know if there were any uncut zoid episodes, or did they not cut anything out.

Funimation doesn't release Zoids, I believe Viz does. And I think some things were cut, but probably nothing too major

Raven bleeds in one of the last ep's of GF. Not that much, though. And yes, Viz is (Luckily it's not Funimation, I'd hate to see what they do to Kiddy Grade) releasing the Orig DVD's. I hope they use the JP DVD boxart, though, it looks really good.
