I would say to go with testors. My only problem with testors is I can never get the paint off the brush anyone have that problem too ?

I haven't tried painting the caps myself, but I was told that any enamel paint would work.

I would say testers and to get the paint off the brush its like paint thinner or something its clear looks like glossy or something but you just put a bit in a glass of water then wisk the brush around, dry and your done I hope your custom comes out nicely.
