Blood Horn Blue Horn "Nuke" Horn Metal Horn My Four custom horns lined up Size comparison of the configured weaponry for the Blood, Metal and Nuke Horns. Mind you that while I didn't build these weapons (scavenged from GI Joe or GI Joe Knockoffs), it took a lot of work to get these weapons to fit properly so that thye appealed to me visually and still retained mobility, all three weapons have a fair to excellent amount of mobility compared to the standard Red horn weaponry. BLue horn is the only Horn custom I didn't configure a special weapon for but I did get him a CP -24, I then added some spare guns from a Geno Breaker outside of the Flexible boosters to give it more firepower. Blue horns paint isn't the best since it was my first customizing attempt. I have also painted for myself A Geno Breaker, a Gordos, a Gunbluster, a Berserk Fury, A Dark Spiner, some weaponry for my Dimetrodon, and for my siblings I have done about 30-40 various smaller zoids including seven Command Wolves and Six Rev Raptors. (at $4 and $2 apeice respectively. Since I only collect and keep large battery operated Dinosaur-Zoids I give many of my projects away) Edits: Fixing tags, also noting that I did use photoshop on some of these images to fix the lighting problems I had when taking hte pictures.

Backstory:
A third nation, calling itself the Katellan Empire, was made up largely of Imperials that fled Guylos after the Zenevas takeover. Unwilling to fight for their own homeland they simply settled a new territory, eventually developing their own military when the peace ushered in by the ZBC had begun to take effect.
The Katellans recognized the versatility of the Red Horn Platform, and since there was an incredible surplus of Red Horn zoids after the warring had ended, the Katellans purchased these Zoids in order to strengthen their forces.
Their first and primary goal of their military was to prevent invasions such as the Zenevas and Helic nations had done in the past. This meant countering the enemy's largest zoids decisively. the As yet unnamed Purple Horn, or "Nuke Horn" as a slang term, is currently in preproduction, the Long Range Missle it has is capable of targeting and destroying large transports such as Whalekings, Panzer Dragoons, and even ultrasaurus units as they tend to be able to transport incredible amounts of firepower fairly effectively. The Warhead can be fitted with many types of warhead but The KDF (Katellan defense force) has kept their armament a secret. The pre production model bears Guylos markings, as the weaponry it boasts was initially designed by the Guylos Empire as a countermeasure to zoids such as Ultrasaurus or Death Saurer
The Blood horn was the next practical step due to the increidbly high cost and low availiability of the CP-03 Vulcan Cannon. The Katellans opted instead to develop a new gun that they themselves could manufacture themselves. This gun is designed to be able to fire ammunition containing depleted uranium, although only ace and elite pilots are allowed use of that ammo due o its cost. The tail pilot of the blood horn also has a very effective communictions setup which allows for better coordination between units and headquarters.
The Blue horn was an experiment to increase the speed of the standard Dark Horn while maintaining a high level of firepower, howeverwith the development of the blood horn the production run of the Blue horn was limited and few units actually entered service, but Blue Horn pilots are quite fond of their machine. the problem the blue horn was designed to correct was later resolved by adding CP-08 booster cannons to the standard Red horn platform.
The Metal Horn is a unit saved for the "Steel Slaughter" special forces. "Steel Slaughter" has several zoids on its roster including the infamous Steelbluster and geno Sauruer "Overkill Custom" but the metal horn is the real workhorse of this unit. Its wide variety of weaponry allow it to challenge zoids of various types and it was designed specifically for the purpose of attacking enemy strongholds. The gun beneath the lower jaw was replaced with twin machine guns similar to those of a stealth viper, while a missle launcher similar to that of a standard Hammerhead (not pictured, on opposite side) was added to the first prototype. Deisgners then suggested that they could increae the firepower with a new rocket battery as wel as a powerful set of machine guns with AP ammo. So far the results have been pleasing.

Love the 'Nuke Horn'. I'm a fan of huge guns, and he's no exception!

cool did u make the gun on the blood horn? I didn't build it, bought it at Toys R Us for $7 along with a bunch of other accesories well suited for the larger GI Joe (or knockoff) action figures. However it was a pain in the butt getting that thing to fit in that slot AND keep its pose-a-bility 9can move 360 degress and slightly up and down vertically. I plan on making a better adapter some time later but I think this looks good as well. One of the funny things is, note the handles on the back? Originally I was gonna mount this gun on the rear of my ultrasaurus and then cutomize a Godos to operate it, I didn't feel like butchering my Ultra though in the attempt plus I needed some weapons for the new blood horn.

The gun on the Blood horn is on my Command Wolf LRTA. I see you didn't include the bullet chain (Forgot the technical term).
I really wish i had a better camera so i could post my customs up.

i think they're all really cool, but I like Metal Horn the best. He just stands out from the rest of them...and those missiles give it a "trigger happy" pilot look.
