hi good folks,
i need brow beat! ;D i am a custom zoid maker, but pehaps the world's most laziest one. for almost 2 years i have had this evil plan.i involes a pair of petras wings altered for my needs....they have been done since inception.a pez fly head altered to fit my needs, about half done.2 pieces off a toy that came with a battle damage wolverine....no altering yet but needs lots.also three zoids have given their lives to the cause.some to be scraped all together as the newest shotwalker seems to fit my needs better...less work involed.oh and waiting on hobby link japan to deliver my blox joints sets.all this will go into my wasp zoid when done. ideally want the tail to be able to swing under and forward firing a missle once done.that and the wings and legs will be powered by the motor.but wings can be moved via the handle just like petras has once motor runs out. guess what i'm looking for is someone to harp on me to hurry up and finish or at least get back to work on it.i would still need an extra shotwalker as i only have one so this is my current snag.i promiss to start once an extra arrives.

And without seeing it, I say it is a Chimera Master!
(Note: There is already a custom from Zee Wakusei named by that)

Hey are you gona paint it (stupid question i know) well u dint say anything bout painting so.............................. anyway sounds cool but u gota get it finished and have pics up. why of coarse i plan to paint but that is a very long way off.the abdomen of the wasp i even plan the alternating stripes of gloss yellow and flat black.the parts i chose just happen to even look like one.body i may go gloss black have not decided.the head i plan on being gold.execpt the eyes and the antennas/guns.the eyes are the cockpits.but since the original pieces that were there are very very thick i had to use shrinky dinks and once heated wrap it around the old eye piece.while doing this i found a technique to put a texture in it that is similar to that of a fly's eye.they will be clear but textured.also i have to attach a hinge piece to each of them and a hold down for it on the head itself.wings will also get a flat black coating as well as the legs. the other day i ordered my other shotwalker and also did some more cockpit work.now the seats are almost finish being carved i can work in the counsel between them....yes a two seater side by side each with its own window/door.my blox joints should also be here any day.more than i did last year lazy me. keep smilin swamprat

update:swamprats wasp well hinges may have came via blox joint sets. however they did not fit my needs as i would need 2 of them to keep it from twisting and 2 take up to much room. so i had to go back to my original plan for attaching the abdomen and it's release mechanism. futher i just opened my shotwalker only to find it was powered by the small wind up motor and not a large one as i thought it had. the extra one i have coming was a waist of time as i must go back to building the body like i was in the 1st place.movement being copied from a saicuritis beetle just scaled up for the larger motor.also not attached like the small one but built onto the bottom.the middle legs will still stand still as they also double to keep the motor in place or at least the rubber stoppers and extra strap do. the hard part is gonna be figuring out how to make it's rear pin have free side to side motion in order to get it to walk like the little motor.i mean take a good look at the highly spiecalized little motor it is a work of art and getting a big motor to do the same dance makes my head hurt. anyway just letting you know i am plugging away on it.just at my pace for i am 'THE WORLD'S LAZIEST CUSTOMIZER' keep smilin swamprat
