This is the first Official Phenotype's Zoids Forum custom contest for 2004. This contest will be co-run by Shadow since it was originally his idea. I have changed the rules so here are the new rules. Theme: Since this is the first contest there won't be a theme. Entries: Each person is allowed to enter one Zoid. Please do not enter a custom that you've already made, I want you guys to actually create a custom for this contest. Rules: You must paint the Zoid, slapping parts from one Zoid on another does not qualify as a real custom IMO. Other than that feel free to customize the Zoid as you choose. Grand Prize: Since I have decided to run this contest (along with Shadow) I am offering up an actual prize: A Limited Edition CP-04 which will be mailed to the winner by myself. The contest will begin on January 18th and entries will be accepted through March 1st, that gives you guys a little over two months, which should be more than enough time. Email your pictures to me at: Phenotype@abstraktsystem.com. After March 1st we will vote. Since this is a community there won't be a select group of judges, I will create a poll that way we can all vote. I look forward to seeing everyone's custom creations! -Phenotype

With the repaint requirement, does the entire model need to be repainted because I'm planning on doing up a Gojulas Giga custom and I can't afford to repaint it but I will be painting all the scratchbuilt components.

I think it will be ok but try to paint some of the parts, just to make it look like its a custom. Because thats just what it is and it needs to be unique.

Do I need to add information or back story to my custom zoid when I submit my custom?

I think you should because it helps us to really understand your custom. I don't know how Pheno fells about this so its just if you want to.

I could make a Konig Wolf in the style of the D.A.Ts. Yeah, maybe winter camo too, hmm... (gets to work)
