Has anyone ever tried a Sautering Iron? it is a Giant Rubber Handle and Case surrounding a Heating Coil, plug it in, wait half an hour and it'll heat the metal bit at the tip so hot it will burn right through the strongest or thickest Plastic. I was thinking of using my Sautering Iron to run just the rim of the plastic I want to bond very lightly then squishing the pieces together till it cools down.. any thoughts?
