Mine was actually a commnd woof but he had an accident and died. I consider my Shield Liger my first actual Zoid cos he was the actual beggining of my Zoids collection.

16 years later..lol. My first one was Saber Tiger, side of repuplic, in 1984. I still have him in good condition, the box too. I collected many years, but gave the most away to Kids for playing. I started collecting again last year. iam still mad about Zoids, after 30 years. Time doesn´t matter..

My first was a Hasbro Command Wolf AC~ My dad later stepped on it with his steel toe work boots and snapped both of its shoulder armors, but the leg pegs amazingly didn't break. I took all of his leg armor off and painted him silver. He looked quite nice! To child me, anyway.

Mine was a Hasbro Command Wolf AC, given to me on Easter in a basket when I was little (I am not a christian or catholic but I liked to egg hunt). Several years later, long after playing with it to death, the first Zoid of my collection was a Helcat Noir. My brother ordered a Command Wolf LC at the same time.

A War Shark that mom bought me all those years back. I can only find a piece or two of it now, much like all of my childhood collection. I got another War Shark in a lot of 13 Zoids I got for $50. I'm never letting that thing go now. Reminds me of her.

A Hasbro Gun Sniper. The motor didn't survive my childhood, but the rest of the Zoid did! Ended up taking the armor and dropping it onto another incomplete Gun Sniper that I had customized to look closer to the media, so it kinda lives on.

I don't know for certain, but it was either Battlesaurus or Evil Pegasus. Sadly neither survived intact until now. I did however manage to restore both of them to their former glory!

Back when I was a kid living in Taiwan, my first Zoids was a Command Wolf Mk.II, man I wish for a new modern design of that.
And my second is the 1:24 Neptune, unfortunately all were destroyed by my younger brothers!
and then Hasbro released the Zoids onto America...

Man, I don't remember what my very first Zoid was. Probably Command Wolf AC or Liger Zero. All my childhood Zoids are sitting in sad, incomplete piles in a box.. Hopefully one day they'll be whole again!

Mantazoid. I couldn't have been older than six, and I very clearly remember the day I bought it and where I built it. I had a few more wind-up ones (definitely a Spineback and a Hellrunner, I always did like the clamshell ones better), and my only battery operated one was a Gore. Zoids were only available here in Switzerland for maybe two years, and I remember there was one Christmas where I could ask for one b-op Zoid, and it ended up choosing the Gore over the Zoidzilla, with kind of a heavy heart.
My brother had a Gorgon and a Red Horn, and also some other windup Zoids, but I really can't remember which ones. With some of this stuff (also other toys), I know I spent so much time staring at pictures of stuff I wished I had that now I sometimes get toys I wanted mixed up with ones I had.
Anyway, I think I'm still just overcompensating for my lack of Zoids as a kid in the 80s.
