Finally got a chance to look for Zoids at college. K-Mart was disapointing.., a fair ammount of Dark Spiners, Elephanders, Salamanders, and Gojulas Gigas and full price. Also some Missile Tortoises, and some Iron Kong action figures, got one of those, it's pretty nice.
KBToys was a nice surprise, before Christmas vacation, they had nothing, but this time, looks like the restocked, and had a Holo Raynos, along with a Black and some Metal Rhimoses, lots of Killer Domes, some Sledge Heads, and a Liger Zero, Gordos, and Gunblaster.
Didn't have time to go to Walmart.., maybe they haven't put all their Zoids on clearence! .., or maybe not.....

I went to Wal-Mart the other day, and to my surprise, all the Zoids were on clearence. All I could find were two Gigas for $20 a piece, so I got them.
It also seems like many stores are clearing themselves of Zoids.

You guys are lucky. The only carries in my neck of Colorado are Target and Toys R Us, all of whom only carry Gojulas Giga, Dimetra Ptera, and various small blox. I went to a Target that was fully stocked before Christmas with a diversity of Zoids, but now all it has is one Gojulas Giga in the clearance isle.

Colodie, where do you keep your Zoids if you're in college? Otherwise, yeah, I've gotta try a K-Mart again sometime, I got my MSiA Bigro ther, and they had a buttload of Zoids at the time.

Most of them are back home in Indiana, I only brough a handful with me. And the ones I just bought, with the exception of Holo Raynos and the Iron Kong figure, are spare parts, so I can throw them in the closet. But I am running out of room... I'd put one on my TV, but the last one tried to commit suicide.....

If you've got a roommate, I'll bet he's pretty amused (or annoyed) by the slow invasion of these little plastic-robo-animal-thingies;)

No no no., did that last year. This year, have my own room. My Zoids should be happy, especially if they heard the horror stories about Liger Zero X. Poor thing got attacked by my drunk roommate, knocked right of my desk, go boom.

hi,
i went to my local haunts this week.in my little town i do have a few stores that carry them.walmart only had giga on the clearace shelf along with a few sea strikers.farm and fleet, value city and walgreens all according to hasbro do stock them.each of those chains does happen to have a store here in town.however none of them have a single zoid.they did have before the hollidays but not much in selection. it is over 25 miles to my nearest k&b....by the way went chapter 11 this week....and target and kmart.it is over 65 miles to my nearest toy'r'us so i almost never get to go there and before i do i phone em to see ifin i should eve bother with a trip. i am hoping that this lull is just cause the new models will be hitting the shelf soon.our walmart seems really slow ae i got a holotech saber just a few weeks ago.this was it's 1st stocking at our local store for any holos.

Isn't a store in the local area (Minot being the only town of any size enough to have stores for 150 miles) with Zoids I don't already have. That's how poorly stocked the local KB, Target, and Wal-mart are.
Haven't noticed anything new on the shelves in either for weeks. And all three of them are on clearance, and Target is already empty.
Looks like eBay here I come to me.

I was in Target last Friday. 4 Dimetra Pteras, full price, lots of action figures and the Zi Comm Control thing, and the lowest Gojulas would go for was 22.93. I will try to wait for them to be on $6. ;D I bought a Groudon and Drill Cannon Batman instead...next week I will buy a Gojulas Giga.
Go GIGA!!!*does corny old cartoon screams*

K-Mart has Zoids, but they suck, most expensive in town. KB's wiped out- just gunblaster and some basic Zoids. Wal-Marts have Gravity Pteras, Brachiozillas, and missile Tortoises for clearance, none of which I'd pay more than $2.00 for. Yet they have been getting in the Energy Liger for regular price, same with Target. TRU still have a good selection, but still kind of expensive. I broke down and bought Lightning Saix with Remote the other day, along with Cannon Spider ( both of which kick ass by the way). I think Wal-Mart and Target are just clearing out the old stuff and making way for the 2004 assortment. Why else would they be carrying Energy Liger for regular price? K-Mart will probably continue to suck, KB's should restock soon with some fairly old stuff (which is fine since their Zoids are practically free) and TRU will remain old faithful. And just a note to Colodie, I started collecting Zoids in college (as well as several other toy lines.) By the time I was finishing my final year, my collection took up most of the room. Luckily my roommate had very few things and didn't need much space. I had several Zoids fall, but nothing broke (Liger Zero fell twice pretty bad, but nothing broke.) Though I have broken my share of Transformers that way. Poor Mirage.
