Yeah. Actually, I hope your right, I don't want to have a repaint in the main Zoids line. Perhaps it's just a custom..., or perhaps Tomy is just messing with our minds, hehe

Looking at a big pic of that Mega Deathsaurer model, The CP intake fan seems to be made from / coated with some kind of glittery, irridescent material. Wonder why? Looking even closer, it looks like the fan and the backpack are connected by a tiny bit of black plastic. Perhaps it moves somehow? This is one Zoid i'm really looking forward to, it better be the same thing.
Oh, and Combat (the crow Blox) is a two mode thingy that can be a Crow or Bat.

The pic shown was a screen capture from the Zoids VS. II video game, where did you see pics of a model? and where did this info on Combat come from? -Phenotype

Wait..... thats it, a repainted Deathsaurer with a big red thing. Well, I guess it could be worse.

Did you scroll down to the bottom? Lol! No, I didn't. Sorry about that, I thought the only pics of it were from the game. Wow, it doesn't look very interesting... -Phenotype

I don't know if I like it or not. If you ignore the fact that it's pretty much a repaint with a red thing on it's back, it's pretty cool. I like the color scheme as well.
However, it IS a repaint with a red thing on it's back. For something called Mega Death Saurer, I'd expect something a bit more...
It's also kinda sad, considering Tomy hasn't made a new BIG Zoid since King Gojulas more than 10 years ago, and now that they have a chance to make something new and inventive, they just rehash an old concept....
Well, I'd image that the Republic and/or Guylos will have to come out with a new big Zoid to counter it. It might be King Gojulas or Gilvader! Or at least a new Zoid. Please, just not a slightly modified Mad Thunder, as much as I love it.....

Reading the description, it sure sounds dangerous. A deathsaurer that has to fire its CPC every time it moves to prevent overloads? I feel sorry for anything that gets in it's way.

I'm not convinced that what we're seeing there is what will be released the Megadeathsaurer kit... The back peice looks scratchbuilt and has some flecks of white on it. Also that'd amount to changing one or two peices on a frame, or adding a new frome with one or two new peices, somehting which I doubt Tomy would do.
At this stage, I'd be going with one of the following
1) A significant remould of Deathsaurer, a la Blade Liger form Shield Liger 2) A recoloured Deathsaurer with Imperial Custom Set parts 3) A new model, sort of to Deathy what Giggles is to Gojulas.
I'd be saying that 1) is most likely here.
As foir the "Mega Deathsaurer" in Zoids Vs II, I put it down to one of those numerous Video-game original Zoids like the Geno Trooper, Trinity Liger, etc etc. I doubt it's the same hting.
Besides, Deathy can allready fire its CPG on the move
