I think this is the best looking Geno Saurer we've ever gotten. That tail articulation is on another level. I also like the proportions much better than the HMM. It's tall, standing up off the ground, but doesn't look like it was weirdly stretched out. The articulation is pulled off with hardly any noticeable gaps at all. For anyone interested in looking at more info on these, here are their official pages, with lots of photos at the bottom. I really dig how Bladey looks next to the AZ. Meant to post some of the interview details that were relevant to the kits earlier
They'll be about the complexity of the AZ kits, with Bladey estimated at 200 pieces compared to AZ's roughly 194 (counting its used caps and stand)
Planning evidently started around 2021, where they found people were pretty evenly divided between wanting motorized kits and poseable ones. They tried to combine the two, but found that it kinda just ruined the best qualities of both.
The 1/100 scale was chosen to better suit the typical Japanese residence, with the goal of being able to assemble one in far less time as well as to be able to display multiples in the same footprint you'd fit a 1/72. Though this feels aggressively optimistic to me. Maybe I'm just a slow poke but I definitely couldn't assemble an AZ in an hour unless I were skipping all forms of part trimming... Unless they specifically mean HMM?
They confirmed that all silhouettes displayed in the previews are planned for release.
Ideally they'd like to release 'something' almost every month.
Price point at the time of posting is $30 (Bladey) ~ $41 (Geno)
They started with anime kits to celebrate the 40th anniversary (which focused pretty specifically on fans who got into the franchise via the anime) but the also want to address kits from other media such as the Battle Story or games. In particular, they want to release Zoids that never got a poseable kit (later down the line)
Ideally, they'd like to include other series such as Zoids Wild and 1/24 kits. The hope being to be able to display them together, in scale (all 1/100)
Though not decided yet, they're toying with the idea of including option parts (or possible CPs) to make anime-specific variants that might not otherwise get a full kit release. For example, option parts to make the Command Wolf Urban Warfare Spec. from CC, or Schwarz's Gatling Gun.

That would be so incredible. I want the anime exclusive weapons and parts so badly.
Pre-ordered a Geno and Liger!

Same, I'd love any of the anime kits! Something like swappable shoulder pieces for the Royal Sabers as an add on to Saber Tiger AT would be both incredibly cheap to produce and expand the customization potential so much.
They would, but I don't think that matters. AZ kits, for example, are rated 15+ so a lot of children's safety standards don't apply. They also get to have pointy parts (which is appreciated until you build Murasame Liger.) Since these are going to be a higher parts count than AZ, and smaller, I'm guessing they'll also be 15+.
