I believe they are so nice just like the original parts. We can see very clear "TOMY" and "Japan" text on the Drill Gun.

I believe they are so nice just like the original parts. We can see very clear "TOMY" and "Japan" text on the Drill Gun. It was why I choose that side to take the pic! I wanted to show how well they came out. He says he can do them in translucent colors, uv reactives, glow in the darks and even chrome them out. He been waiting for an order to try the glow in the darks. I had a bit of clean up work to do before assembly but it wasn't too bad nor hard! I was a bit nervous on the gear's clean ups. Again not too bad. I can't wait to see my second shipment stuff, and my 3rd and 4th and so on!

I have a dilemma! While packing up what is needing sent to him for chroming I realized something important! He wanted me to forgo shipping the motor with to save weight shipping cost. It was when I relized the motor assembly is 80% of this model zoid! It is the battery compartment that is the 1st part of the tail. It is attached to the motor assembly by a wire. The motor assembly is the main portion of the body. If I am to chrome this baby out these pieces need chromed too. There in lies the dilemma. To do so I need to disassemble those pieces send off the shells to be chromed and reassemble them once done. Mathieus you have dabbled inside this models internals on your gungyrados mk2 correct? What am I in for? An easy time or a difficult one? I just may have to forget doing this project. But wanted a sounding board before my looking inside them. If it wasn't for the battery box and wire i'd be less stressed. Ive been inside gojulas' and ultras' motor assemblies many years ago. I don't recommend doing this. But now days it is way easier to video or photo the processes than it was back then. Thoughts, comments and suggestions please!

Yes, I desecrated a Gungy for my custom. The internals aren't that advanced, but you will have to take some care with the shoulder and tail joints, as well as the outer "hip frame". I would have to look and see how tight they were to see if the plating would interfere with their motion, but I don't recall them being snug or anything. You may have to be wary of posts and holes between the body parts and the limbs/armor. You're just going to have to just take care with the bits and pieces... Gungy's body is mechanically different from all other Zoids, as far as I know!

Well fortunately some of the pieces are pre chromed. They are the ones that are used for the swivel joints mostly as well. However these all need coloring so this adds a thin layer of candy paints. They are easily removed if needed to be on areas for swiveling so no real worries there. Yes I know that the layer of chrome added to those other pieces can interfere with studs and holes and will likely need clean up work to be done to help fitting properly. Twotoys warns that chromed model are not really meant to be action they are more over static models. In this case however with 2 postitions there will be some movements going on depending on my mood for it standing or laying. Thank you for the quick reply! I think I will crack these open and have a look see. After which I will decide a coarse of action. 'Do or do not, there is no try'-Yoda

Exactly! Sometimes you just have to open a Zoid up and take a look inside. You may decide to work around the inner parts or just chop 'em up with a saw and make a fully articulated custom. ^_^

So today I sent off my care package. Yes the motor was disassembled and the shells went with. On this I must note my experiences with dealing with him. First and foremost none of this deters me from dealing with him in any way shape nor form. It is more important that I must in order to get things I need to accomplish done. All that being said. I must warn those who do deal with him. The shipment I recieved that I showed pics of took almost a whole month to recieve. He is worried that too many shipments to and from him will draw attention of his government and cause them to apply taxes to this fledgling business of his. Due to this he utilizes a 3rd party he in the states with a bulk shipment who in turn distributed the parts to me. This slowed that shipping process! Now I am shipping to him. Once again this is a 2 step process utilizing yet a different 3rd party whom I doubt will actually bundle this rather large packagae with even more packages. That would seem crazy to me. At this point I would be willing to just have the tax added to my stuff rather than pay 2 shipping fees to send stuff then another to recieve stuff. Here I am again! Old! And having flash backs of the old Benny Hill show and one of his skits quoting him over and over in the skit 'that's how I made my money! By cutting out the middle man!'- Benny Hill. That just ran thru my mind while typing this all out! Again it's his pony let him ride it any way he wants! I have way too many projects lined up that hinge on him and his success on his works that I will do what I must! I did however feel compelled to let others know how this works with him. That way no one is uninformed of how things are handled. I just hope nothing gets lost or misplaced thru these processes!!!

I recieved an update pic. Twotoys is working further on my projects. These are my guylos empire gungyrados wings fresh out and still needing clean up work. He was excited to show me them. I was really stoked to see them as well! This means all with broken wings can now have replacements! Everyone line up and flood him with request! Btw the 12 pieces normally red on a gunny are also being made for this project. So if you want to change out wing and pieces colors to get new looks, that is now a possibility!
