Too bad they're not doing Konig Wolf MK-II. Why is that, Kotobukiya?

Have they actually done any Fuzors-specific variants?

Have they actually done any Fuzors-specific variants? Sadly, no.

Not doing the MK-II is fine. The Heavy Arms is the same kit but a more sought after variant. Heavy Arms is a lot nicer looking kit too IMO

They probably WILL do MkII in the future, after they milk the original. I'm just excited to see it!

I used to own the Hasbro Konig Wolf when I was a kid back in the day. The original TOMY RZ-053 Konig Wolf was released on October 27, 2001 for 2,500 yen alongside the EZ-054 Liger Zero X, wich retailed for 3,000 yen. The Hasbro Konig Wolf retailed for $19.99 when it was first released in 2002. The CP-22 Dual Sniper Rifle and the CP-23 AZ 5 Barreled Missile Pod were released on December 15, 2001 for 300 yen a piece. The original TOMY Heavy Arms Konig Wolf was released on August 30, 2003 for 3,980 yen as an ESToys exclusive. The FZ-002 Konig Wolf MK-II was released on September 30, 2004 for 2,980 yen.

Oh! I havent read the webcomic in probably 10 years? What is that second canopy option for the Heavy Arms? I don't think I have ever seen that before. It's interesting.

It's the funky double-seater canopy from the Web Comic DVD that came with HA~

I've never seen the "glass dome" version. Interesting.

It would be amazing if we saw that one silver spiky König that was only a prototype, after all these years

It would be amazing if we saw that one silver spiky König that was only a prototype, after all these years A couple of people have made 3D-printed versions of the Silver Fang and are selling them online. You can find the 3D file made by Keshion (in the Zoids Discord) if you're interested.

Maybe someday when 3D printed stuff becomes cheaper and they get it properly smooth

I hope Kotobukiya does an HMM RZ-055 Mad Thunder since they teased the Mad Thunder's designation number on the box of Liger Zero X.

Am the only one who feels kind of underwhelmed that the Kotobukiya version is also going to come stock without any long-ranged weaponry. I mean, especially after they added weaponry to units like Command Wolf AC and Lightning Saix.
I'm still squinting, hoping that there is a shock cannon tucked inside the fuselage, or hidden pop-up missile pods somewhere in the armor. That, and maybe an optional double beam rifle similar to the Command Wolf's.
Other than that, the Tomy Konig Wolf was already a unit packed with details, so naturally, the Kotobukiya designers have gone all out if the concept art is any indication. Am I the only one who wants to actually see a Konig Wolf Mk-II in colors based on the Mk-IIs from the mid 80s?
