It's the shipping costs that add up. If these ever show up for the equivalent retail price in Amazon Prime, then it's worth it for me.

I'm really liking the fact that they're releasing the same kit in the US and in Japan... makes you wonder if the SL DCS-J was just to get things started, and now releases are going to be simultaneous.
As for the Death Stinger specifically, if you're still on the fence, I can tell you this - it's one of the few HMM kits that don't have some sort of engineering problem. It's also freaking massive, fun to build, and absolutely gorgeous.
On the other hand, for an HMM kit of its size, it's relatively simple (although unlike the Storm Sworder, this doesn't diminish its appearance in any way), and I've never really understood why it's so damn expensive. You're getting a lot of plastic because it's big, but not really that many parts.
Still, though, it's pretty high on the list of HMM kits I'd recommend.

With my Zoids hobby, I don't really have time (or the room) for the HMMs. But I sure like the trend that Kotobukiya is taking in offering to bring their kits to the US. The Koto DCS-J is priced less than the current available Tomy kit, which is kinda crazy, but great for HMM builders. I use some of Koto's MSG stuff with my hobby, and it is very well made. Like others, I hope this trend continues with Koto and hopefully we can see other Zoids manufacturers coming to the states!

I want to support KotoUS, but USA Gundam has the better deal! Decisions, decisions...

Support a local shop over the direct even if its just a few dollars more.
If its more than $10 more id say use Koto Direct. Otherwise stay local if you can.

This good news couldn't come at a better time, since Zoids has been dropped from Hasbro Pulse. It looks like Hasbro decided to give up on the line, even though it's been barely a couple of years since they launched it, and never even launched the Zero kits or the anime in the US. I know that Death Stinger is nearly 50% more expensive than Shield Liger DCS-J, but I still want it. I'm going to first buy a cheap Zoids Wild kit while I can, and stock up on modeling supplies and practice. Maybe a Kuwagawa or a Scorpear. I'm not messing up a Koto kit, especially if I somehow get my hands on a DSZS.
Rev Raptor actually looks pretty cool, but couldn't they have had it come with a small firearm frame, instead of teasing us?

The Wild Kits actually made kt over here? Not familiar with "Hasbro Pulse" but I never saw them in the toy aisle.
Got a store to order a Rev Raptor! Excited.

I was hoping ZW Zero does get released in the US, or at least get the remaining Team Supreme Kits released by Hasbro. It's probably impossible by now to get a Death Rex Hasbro release.

Didn't they JUST START releasing Zoids Wild kits in America? They only did like 8 of them. Did they sell so badly that they gave up already?

I'm honestly surprised that the 1/35 scale Fang Tiger from Zoids Wild isn't getting a US release. That's kind of unfair seeing as how ZW got an English dub on Netflix last year.
