As I'm sure others here have seen, the HMM Iron Kong PK is getting a re-release in March! And I must say I'm tempted to get it because it looks amazing, but I do have some questions about the kit.
My biggest question/concern is... how prone to shedding parts is this thing? I remember seeing reviews of the original HMM Kong that said it was extremely prone to shedding parts, and I'd want to now if this issue was fixed in releases of subsequent Kong variants or not.
Second, is the belts. Are those made of the same soft rubber as the belts on the HMM Great Sabre? And if they are, are they also extremely prone to breaking over time? I gotta ask this because the belts on the HMM Great Sabre I built years ago broke over time, and I'd like to know if anything can be done to prevent that.

Asked Phobos who has one of these, and he gave these answers. Hope it helps!

Asked Phobos who has one of these, and he gave these answers. Hope it helps! Thank you so much for the info, because that is so insanely helpful! I initially thought the belts on the HMM Iron Kong PK and HMM Gojulas Ogre were made of rubber like the HMM Great Sabre's belts, since they look very similar to those in the promo pics. It's so good to know they're not rubber on either of those kits, because I was so worried about the rubber belts breaking. As for gluing armor pieces in place, that won't be a problem. I'm currently making the HMM Sturm Tyrann, and I'm pretty much gluing any piece that looks like it might run the risk of popping off, without interfering with poseability. And it's working like a charm, cause i've got his head, neck, torso and tail done, and he's 100% posable with no chance of pieces popping off. If it works here, it'll work on the HMM Kong!
