How is the black not the regular color? Yeah, I keep saying that myself. I like the original silver version fine and all, but there's just no question as to which one looks better.

I must admit that Zero Grizis seemed odd to me on release, but now that I know his backstory, he is definitely on my must have list.

I was really going to wait and watch the English dub of ZWZ on Dailymotion because it's pretty decent, but at the rate it's showing up there I won't get to the Grizis' first appearance for another year, and I can't wait anymore.

I saw the Japan Trailer for ZWZ and could tell from the scenes that it has the potential to be interesting.
Also, from my experience with the kits, the ZW and ZWZ kit releases seems to have put "a lot" of effort into the desings for the dinos and insects. This actually reminds me when they released Gordos, Gojulas, and ultra during the 80s. They were "very impressive" designs, and I'm noticing that same "feel" with the new dino designs. They have a lot of visual impact. I hope the best for this release, and hope we may see a revisit to the classics eventually. I'm so close to finishing my personal project in 1/72.
The CoroCoro Grizis does have really nice coloring. But I am actually okay with the standard release, as well. For me, it's about the "mecha design" with Zoids. But I am glad you posted photos of this rare kit. It is nice to see. Thanks for that!

It reminds ME of that era and those designs because of how fast and loose they're playing with anatomy and proportion.. but yeah, visual impact out the wazoo

I started calling my customs "Kaiju Type" for that exact reason.

I have kind of nostalgia for things being marked tyrannosaurus when they meant godzilla. I got a bunch of POGs back in the day that used the same few dinosaur names over and over with a bunch of stolen clipart that they varyingly resembled, and at least a few of the 'tyrannosaurs' were kaiju

How popular culture was affected when paleontologists discovered that tyrannosaurus rex more likely didn't walk upright is something that will never not amuse me. I mean, it's basically the reason Gojulas Giga exists, and the HMM Gojulas has a t-rex mode as well.
