I'm still on "hard pass", especially at that exorbitant price. Not that it's surprising, but I just can't justify that expense given what I've bought in model kits lately.

Looks great if you're a Blade Liger fan! I do have to say though I was a little underwhelmed by the video; I thought it might be one of those fancy moving graphics CGI-type promos similar to what Bandai does sometimes

Looks like basically a smaller version of the Yamato Shield Liger.

Is this anime accurate?

Yes and no. It has taken a few cues from the anime, but it's still its own design, with custom detailing unique to the company, like the triangular vents on the legs and unique blade shape. Details from the anime include two pipes on the fronts of the legs, five slats for the E-Shield generator, a double-seater cockpit, etc. The pilots are generic, though.

It seems that while Good Smile's website allowed some people to pre-order this figure, it was not supposed to let anyone outside of some Asian countries do so. Unfortunately, this means that everyone who ordered from Good Smile outside of those countries have had their orders cancelled, hours before the pre-order deadline is about to hit. So, for those who ordered from them, check for cancellation E-mails, and if your order was cancelled, Amazon JP still has them available. I'm not sure if they're adhering to the pre-order deadline or not, though, so that could change soon.
