This was an extremely rapid build I made for my daughter this Christmas... about 16 hours from design to photography. HISTORYA longstanding history of Zenevas’ military power has shown that the Empire has held a far weaker aerial component than their chief adversary, Helic. The Aura Eagle was designed to be rapidly produced as a Jack of all trades, but a master of none. In this way Zenevas bolsters its airpower and hopes to maintain better battlefield dominance ability versus more plentiful or more powerful units. Again, please feel free to look over the build page and leave me some comments. This isn't my best work, but it was fun to do! EZ-170 AURA EAGLE build page

Gorgeous! I love it!! So unusual to see a Zenevas eagle. The legs seem big but some eagles really do have quite long legs. I would have made the neck a little longer, but overall this is great

Really cool little sprint project! Makes me want to see what I can come up with if I limit the time to a single weekend. Well done for finishing in time!
That eagle head ended up looking pretty Zoid-esque indeed after you painted it (and modded the jaw). I like the motif of repeating slats or struts in the feet, wings, and tail, makes these eclectic parts feel like they all belong together.

Thanks, both of you! Yes, the proportions were rushed, but I was happy with what I could do in the time (I've wondered if she'll let me to some improvements, but she really likes it as is!) The harpy eagle does have some rather huge legs, and the extra plume of feathers on the head and legs looks pretty similar to this. Ultimately, of course, I would have loved to make grasping talons, a larger tail, and fuller wings, too. Maybe next time I'll have a little more time and a handful of Buster Eagles to do the job right! (Or I could custom cut all the feathers!)
