Edit: I changed the title as to not confuse people Well as I stated in another post this week, the addition of weapons in the more recent announcements is, in my prediction, to ease the current generation of new Zoids fans into a more adult version of Zoids (Wild). And so get a bit more attention of the older fans. ZW is allready wildly popular amongst kids and adults who buy them to articulate them or customize them by painting etc. Not all the older Zoids fans are completely okay with the current line, but myself included (even though I admit there are pros and cons for the kits) do have to admit that I am glad that there are new motorized kits. And there are some really cool ones available. Yes different then what we used to get, but still nice in it's own way (see my reviews on thoughts on that). And as I also predicted a while ago (or rather suggested that it would be weird not to continue HMM next to ZW) it is now a fact that HMM will indeed continue as we all now, but also the ZW kits are getting an HMM treatment. Well these pics from Corocoro further strenghten my prediction that in a few weeks time the Zoids Wild will stop (I think 52 episodes). One because of the storyline that looks to come to an end. And two because the models are slowly changing to weaponized versions. That new pic with what appears to be maybe a (grand)son of Arashi and the fact that the Zoids now have weapons (and some new models will have Machine Blast instead of Wild Blast or Death Blast) makes it fairly certain that that is a new age of Zoids set in the future. pbs.twimg.com/media/D9B-uGEUwAAdrza.jpg:large/photo/2

I fear this post may be hyping people up for the wrong reason... This is not the end. Fans who are looking to move past Wild are going to be sorely disappointed when they read a title like the "End of Zoids Wild." In fact, this is being called the "second generation" of Zoids Wild in CoroCoro. We've got kits confirmed up to ZW34 (Gilraptor Rare Bone), almost a third of the series left to go, and they've only just announced the second gen. Zoids Wild will be getting a second manga to begin in September, and all character designs and reused Zoids strongly imply that the target audience will be the same as the earlier series.
Don't get me wrong, I'm super hyped for the new Zoids content, but fans who don't like Zoids Wild probably won't be. With the Gannontoise already using guns as one of the main characters, I don't think adding more guns is going to change the target audience much. At the very least, it will probably still be subject to all of the same quirks that Wild is subject to. Including a Beast Liger with the exact same gimmicks, who will surely render all enemy guns useless as he runs through the direct firing line and insta-kills his targets.
For the setting, it was mentioned in CoroCoro that it's set 500 years in the future, and this'll likely apply to the manga. We already know the end date of Zoids Wild's anime to be June 28th. The Blu-ray listings had an episode count of 10 per Blu-ray, for a total of 50 each~ It is in the future, but it'll still surely be a kids series.
I'm quite stoked for Wild to continue, and it seems to still be running strong, in spite of the anime ending in 2 weeks. It's entirely possible we'll see another anime announcement over the next few months. I'm looking forward to new designs, and seeing more awesome manga art.

Well I think Han said it better than I could so thanks for clearing that up. Sorry if my post creates the wrong idea. (Should I remove it by the way?) Thanks Han for always getting us news, updates and translations. And am I also excited to see more Zoids stuff (Wild and HMM) because well at least there's still stuff coming out, which still makes it my longest running and best appreciated hobby;)

No, sorry for confusing people, the current anime comes to an end at 50 episodes (as said by Han above) and after that there will be a new manga and anime. With the new storyline etc.

No, there's no need to remove the thread, but I appreciate the title change. While I may like Wild there's a LOT of people in the English speaking community who don't, and it'd be unfortunate if they genuinely believed Wild was over.
As a side note, while a second anime is extremely likely (I'd wager almost guaranteed) we don't have 100% confirmation of an anime yet, I don't think? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
TT has revamped the Zoids Wild site in the last day or so, with a large banner reading "Second Series Starting!!" in reference to the Beast Liger and Cannon Bull being released on the 27th of July. Beast Liger also lists an "Evo Blast", now separating itself from Wild Liger's "Wild Blast." Looking forward to see what this means. I'm getting Murasame vibes, but who knows?

Is this show getting another season or is it ending after episode 50?

It hasn't been officially clarified yet, but with a second manga and the next set of model kits just announced as "series 2" it seems highly likely.

It would be a little fast if the entire Zoids Wild concept was done ALREADY. That would actually make me more worried than relieved. I'm happy they're doing a little revamp and some upgrades even if this isn't my entire cup of tea. Lest we forget, the very originalmost Zoids were kinda stupid-looking, but they built on that
