The funny thing is, I didn't even finish my Gojulas The Ogre yet.

Kokuto on twitter posted a pic of the box art that's currently on display. Koto's website is down atm, so can't check for a clean version there just yet. It's interesting seeing a Republic Zoid painted in such a gloomy, doomy atmosphere, but I like it!

Updated the first post with quick links. The Gunner looks like it comes with new decals and clear colorless parts to replace the orange, as well, as part of its bonus for being a Koto Direct kit~ It's also molded in metallic plastic, apparently. That's not really a selling point for me, but I kinda want those clear parts. Not enough to buy a third HMM Goj if I haven't even built my second one, though...

If someone could mail me this kit for free, I would love you.

I'm more excited with the new Godos release, as it is fondly called a Small Gojulas.

It's still going to be a Koto Shop exclusive, and they've made a point of saying just because it was reissued this time, doesn't mean it'll happen again in the future. The big kicker with this is the current shipping climate. At over 6 kg, this guaranteed breaks the $200+ mark for DHL in shipping alone. You could do seamail, but man, that'd be stressful with a kit this expensive. Still, I hope everyone going for a Gunner can snag one!

Now that you mention it, it seems a bit odd that they'd do this release now when it's going to be difficult for people to get it mailed anywhere (I imagine even Japan Post itself is struggling to keep up with all the parcels being sent at the moment) and to announce that this may be the last chance to get one, although I don't buy that for a second. For a kit this expensive, the HMM Gojulas sells really well, and this'll be the fourth time they're releasing one.
Anyway, I already have the standard version and an Ogre that I still need to build and paint, so it's all the same to me, but like I say everytime the topic comes up - the HMM Gojulas is one of the most insane things ever developed by a relatively mainstream manufacturer of sci-fi model kits, and yes, you want one, and yes, it's worth the price.

I wish it were a regular release too. Haven't ordered or built one myself yet. With HLJ announcing that all shipping services have planned rate increases next year, it's definitely heading towards "shipping costs as much as the item itself" territory, which I wouldn't necessarily mind for something like this, but the added step of having to track it down through a proxy or whatever makes it just a little more out of reach.

This gives me hope that other exclusives make a comeback as I missed out on the Stinger Hiltz.

Shipping within Japan doesn't seem to be an issue, as Koto has a flatrate of 550 yen for shipping within the country. Bet they're feeling that on this kit!
And same. Gunner and Ogre are pretty closely tied for my favorite HMM Goji, and if it had been a regular release I definitely would've gotten it the first time around. I think I'll wait and maybe someday get an Ogre instead though.

How much do you think DHL shipping would cost from FromJapan?

If Buyee's DHL table is accurate, $223, with room for an increase due to its box size. I couldn't even figure out how to get an estimate on DHL's website because it's larger than their largest listed shipping box, with the next step up being a palette lol, so I think it's a little hard to predict.
