Interesting the parts you can see through other parts, but what's with the orange impact cannons?

The Koto Zero has brown mixed into the design, including the cannons. They're a bit more brown when not lit up.

Already posted my thoughts on Gojulas, Gun Sniper, and Genosaurer on their respective threads.
My only thoughts on HMM Gilraptor, Fang Tiger, and Wild Liger is...eh. I get why they are being made...but eh.

Yeah, this is all a bit anticlimactic. I'm glad the HMM line is back and they're still doing pre-ZW models, but basically it's a bunch of reissues, a new Godos cockpit and the Rev Rapter. We'll see what the Wild models look like, I guess - especially the pilots, maybe they'll be something along the lines of the Hexa Gear governors, that would be pretty cool. But I'm not terribly excited about them, especially since the focus is unsurprisingly about the kittehs.

Sucks that we aren't getting a Death Saurer.

Wow I wasn't expecting Wild! I don't like HMMs much, but I'll get those if they are more study than usual. *glares at my crumpled HMM Blade Liger*

Well, good to see Zoids Wild join the HMMs. I was hoping they'd be 1/72 in scale making them smaller kits, but now I'm wondering if that might not be the case.
Most of the new 'old school' Zoids seem to be recolours/remolds of earlier HMMs.
Going by that logic, it wouldn't be a surprise if HMM Rev Raptor and Gilraptor shared molding. As for Wild Liger and Fang Tiger, Koto wouldn't need to look too far to find suitable frames to build them around. I do hope I turn out to be wrong, though.

I don't think you have to worry about that. The art we've seen for the Zoids Wild kits is pretty close to the motorized, and none of Rev Raptor's parts are compatible with Gilraptor's skeletal design. There are also no ligers that can be used for that look. I think the recolours/remolds are just them taking the chance to revamp some old designs that need some TLC and have been gone for a while. If I'm not mistaken, the original Geno Saurer hasn't been in production for almost 12 years. Saber Tiger almost 7.
Excited to see the Wild Kits and will probably pick up Fang Tiger since I don't own the motorized, though I do wish they took a few more design liberties. Fang Tiger has extremely minor modifications. Wild Liger is a bit more different, but still. Definitely picking up Gilraptor to have a sharp stabby raptor Zoid.

Well, I can say this much; I'm not a huge fan of the Wild line, but for customs, I would rather have HMM versions that won't have hallow legs and tails made of a single piece. Now, let's see how much they will charge for them.

HMM Wild Liger and Fang Tiger seem to be remolds/premolds of each other (look at the teeth, legs and other body details) which isn't really a big surprise now that I think about it. By the same token, I'm guessing we'll be getting a HMM-ified Gilraptor with a similar relationship to the Rev Raptor (Koto does sometimes alter a few original details) . I suspect they didn't show us the Gilraptor artwork because they haven't quite got the design right.
Well, at least we'll get the chance for a Dilophos, Gilraptor Commander and Raptoria.

Dilofos (now with an f instead of ph) and Raptoria don't share parts with Gilraptor so I don't see why they would do that. Also those two don't at all need a HMM treatment, they are not worth making. Hunter Wolf or Death Rex would make more sense.

Koto doesn't reuse bases unless the Zoids were already designed that way, before Koto ever redesigned them. In those cases, it's how the Zoid is meant to be, and not a decision made by Kotobukiya. Since Rev Raptor shares no components with Gilraptor, I doubt they'll change that now. For the art, according to someone who participated in the event, Koto 'wants' to release Gilraptor in 2021. You're probably right about it not being a finished design, but it's also quite early to be seeing art of it. Fang Tiger and Wild Liger are aiming for a closer 2020 release.
The shared base of Wild Liger and Fang Tiger is also by design. This precedes the HMM release. Koto is only staying true to how the Zoids are originally designed. If you take a closer look at the Zoids Wild kits, tons of them share bases. Just a rough rundown, excluding obvious updates like Raptoria:
* Wild Liger Skeleton - Fang Tiger: Shares same body - Hunter Wolf: Shares leg design, but extended further
* Triceradogos Skeleton - Stegosage: Shares leg design
* Gilraptor Skeleton - Pachykedos: Shares same body
* Gabrigator Skeleton - Ankyrox: Shares some lower body parts and legs - Dimepulsar: Shares lower body/tail/legs
* Raptor Skeleton - Dilofos: Shares same body
So from the current lineup, Pachykedos and Hunter Wolf are the next potential retools, using the same base. Possibly Beast Liger, if they feel so motivated. I have this nagging feeling that they won't do a huge Wild lineup. I'd be surprised if we got Pachy, but we'll see.

2020? Okay, time to save up. I think Koto will see how the first ZW HMMs turn out before deciding whether or not to go all out on the line.
I remember when HMM Shield Liger first came out. I never imagined just how many more of Koto's offerings would end up in my collection.
Also I want Zoids Aggressive and D-Style back.
