I think they are really missing the boat when it comes to mythical creatures. I mean, we have dragons, pegasus, and griffins; but what about more drastic animals? There are chimeras, hydras, manticores, gorgons, oriental dragons, kirin, sphinx, orthros, hippocampus, etc.....

I'd love to see a hyena or gorgonopsid, and I definitely second the carnotaurus. Maybe even a titanoboa, for a snake Zoid that was a little more fear inducing.

There are some species that are so common it actually amazes me that we never saw a kit made from them:
Giraffe
Baboon (any other primate other than a gorilla, of which there were FOUR)
Shark (any kind other than a hammerhead)
Octopus/squid
Ant
Sailfish
Any number of other animals we've all seen customs of.

I'm kinda surprised that there's no frog Zoid yet. A little windup thing that hops along, not something like Aquadon (which was really charming and wonderful, but a bit too abstract).

I'm kinda surprised that there's no frog Zoid yet. I mean... do you count the Battle Story? :'D  I'm right up there with DarthPardus though. A kirin, sphinx or hippocampus (or hippogriff omg) would be so cool. Though I highly doubt that ZW will make any Zoids based on "mythical" creatures at all...and the OJR times are sadly long gone :'> |

I remember that little frog guy! But a new frog would certainly be appreciated, haha. While we're talking about sea creatures, I would love an eel Zoid.

Oh yes all of those would be cool! And a frog, snake etc would indeed also be nice (as I always thought it was a shame they never did these ones years back) So here TT, some inspiration (HINT)

Zoikino did a really great job painting the custom shark (he chose much more blue and really well fitting colors)
